We visited this restaurant because it received high reviews and prices were reasonable. Well first off for all you people out there writing reviews, do you really know good food? For the benefit of the doubt maybe you wrote your review for the pizza which is economically priced and looked somewhat appetizing.

I booked a reservation on line at 6pm for a table at 9:15 . We arrived at the restaurant and the host didn’t have us listed with a reservation. I told him it was booked at 6pm. He asked if I received a confirmation...which I did not...to be honest somebody should be monitoring this process all night and apparently nobody is. Anyway we did get seated 10 minutes later.

For Primi , we ordered the fresh pasta frutta di mare €22. Secondi grigliata pesce mista €32 and an insalate con rucola a pomodorini. For drink aqua €4 and bottle of rose €24. As you can see the prices are NOT cheap! You go broke here with these prices!

The pasta dish was over salted , the portion was barely enough to feed a mouse and the fish was chopped up small. Was the fish fresh...? Who knows with it chopped up . The grilled mixed fish contained 1 small shrimp, 1 prawn, 1 rubbery calamari tube, 2 tentacles and a small fillet of fish. This was Disgusting! None of the fish tasted fresh, the calamari was tasteless, rubbery... like it was frozen. The fillet was probably hanging around in the refrigerator for days...The rucola and tomatoes were tasteless!

The Chef clearly doesn’t know how to cook and shouldn’t even be a chef using these mediocre ingredients... how dare you being on the coast of Italy.

I am SicilianAmerican and with that heritage brings an abundance of food knowledge and someone who knows quality ingredients as well as preparing exceptional dishes. After the first night in Positano I sense its a big tourist trap and the locals don’t care...just want to suck up your money. We should’ve stayed in Sorrento for a few more days...

I would rate this a ¼ star but google has a minimum...

I want to make it clear from the start that everything stated here is entirely TRUE.

Let me get straight to the point. The most upsetting part of our visit was when I noticed some foreign substance in my wine glass. To see what it is, we used a knife to fish out the substance. At this moment, a male employee in the photo started to stare at us, and then he took out his phone and began taking pictures. I distinctly saw him taking the photos, and when I made eye contact with him, he quickly turned away and pretended to use his phone for the next two minutes, avoiding our gaze. When I complained to a female employee about it, he showed me some random photos on his phone, denying any wrongdoing. Again, he was watching us before taking the photos, and the camera was clearly pointed at us; there was no one behind us that he could have been photographing. Not only did we not receive an apology, but after this incident, the employees, including the male employee, continued to mock us. This restaurant seems to lack basic manner for its customers, and not just towards Asians; EVERYONE should be cautious about this place. Even if we might have acted slightly inappropriately, it does not give anyone the right to take our picture without permission and mock us. BEWARE, your actions could easily become a target for ridicule in this restaurant. After our meal, I informed the manager about the situation, suggesting it was something he should be aware of, but he naively insisted that his staff would never behave in such a manner and took no further action. OMG.

Secondly, we were pressured to order more expensive menu. During our meal order, they insisted THREE times to order an expensive dish, despite us expressing our preference. After we firmly insisted on our choice, the service we received was noticeably less friendly. Additionally, while we were still eating, they removed our food without even asking if we had finished. The female employee I had previously complained to was the one who did this, simply placing cutlery in the dish and taking it away. I wonder if her behavior is the same towards people of other races, not just Asians. Despite living in the United States and being fluent in English, they made no effort to communicate with us, simply clearing our table without a word.

일단 아래 사실은 단 하나의 거짓도 없음을 미리 알려드립니다. 먼저, 제일 기분 나빴던 점, 와인잔에 뭔가 이물질이 들어가 있는 것 같아 확인차 와인잔에 있는 건더기를 나이프를 넣어 건지려 시도. 이걸 본 사진 속 직원이 우리를 주시하며 비웃더니 자기 핸드폰으로 사진 찍기 시작. 저는 분명히 그 시람이 우리 사진 찍는 걸 봤고 저를 본 직원이 후다닥 뒤를 보고 저희의 눈을 약 2분간 피하며 핸드폰 하는 모습까지 보았습니다. 저는 이에 대해 여자 직원에게 항의했으나 그는 자신의 아무 사진이나 보여주며 아니라고 얘기하더라고요. 그럼 제가 본 것은 뭐죠? 저희를 향하고 있던 카메라, 그 앵글.. 우리 뒤엔 사람도 없었는데ㅋㅋ 사과는 물론 없었고 그 이후로 다른 직원들과 함께 저희를 더욱 비웃었습니다. 근데 제가 표정썩으니 눈치는 엄청 보더라고요. 저는 인종차별보다 고객에 대한 예의가 전혀 없는 레스토랑 같아서 아시안 뿐만 아니라 모두가 이 레스토랑을 조심했으면 좋겠다고 얘기하고 싶네요. 저희가 식당에서 조금 예의에 어긋나는 행동을 했을지라도 당신은우리의 허락없이 사진찍고 이를 비웃으면 안돼. 여기를 방문하기 전에 꼭 알아두세요. 당신의 그 어떠한 행동도 이 곳에서는 비웃음의 대상이 될 수 있다는걸. 이렇게 비웃음 당한 것에 대해서 식사 후 매니저에게 너가 알아두어야 할 것 같다고 얘기했으나 매우 순수한 매니저는 자신의 직원이 그럴리가 없다고 얘기할 뿐 더이상의 어떠한 행동을 취하지 않았습니다:)

두번째, 비싼 메뉴를 강요함. 식사 주문시 저희가 먹고 싶은 메뉴가 아닌 더 비싼 메뉴를 약 3번정도 강요 당했습니다. 3번의 강요 끝에 저희는 끝까지 저희가 먹고 싶은 것을 얘기했고 그 이후 저희는 친절한 서비스를 받을 수 없었습니다. 뿐만 아니라, 음식을 먹고 있는 와중에 끝났냐는 물음도 없이 음식을 빼버리더라고여? 식기와 접시를 그냥 저희 음식에 넣어버렸습니다. 이 행동의 직원은 아까 제가 항의한 그 여자 직원입니다:) 이 태도에 대해서 그 여자 직원에게, 레스토랑에 묻고 싶네요. 다른 인종들한테도 이러는지를요. 저는 미국에 살아 영어를 유창히 할 줄 아는데도 불구하고 그 사람들은 저희랑 대화 자체를 시도 하지 않았습니다. 그냥 식기 집어넣고 치워버리던데요ㅋㅋ 마지막으로 저희의 사진을 찍은 남자 직원의 사진을 같이 첨부합니다.

너가 우리 사진 찍어서 나도 너 사진을 찍어 올려. 억울하고 사진 지우고 싶으면 나한테 이메일 보내. 너의 태도에 대해서는...

The worst food of all Amalfi Coast. We ended up at this restaurant after a recommendation from the hotel desk. The place has only nice views to offer. We ordered an antipasti, a salad to share that had only 3 little frozen shrimps and 4 rocket leaves (16€). Overpriced. The oven baked sea bass was tiny and frozen, it came with one potato and a bigger portion of salad than the antipasti. (20€) The other main course supposed to be a seafood risotto, but instead we’ve got rice dumped into a full plate of frozen and tasteless squid pieces, with clams and mussels that probably were a week old (22€). The wine was the only good thing of the menu (House wine 15€ per 2 glasses). The worst part of the experience, when we told to a member of the staff that this was the worst food we had on our full week in the Amalfi Coast. He then said that the bill was what we didn’t like (82€). Tried also to charge us twice adding the gratuity part by himself (2 times). We did paid the same amount in other restaurants in the area that worth every penny because of the food quality...
