Visited Positano for a day and someone had recommended that we try this place as it’s away from the main beach (this is on fornillo beach). Staff were friendly. Views were BEAUTIFUL. Definitely a more quiet beach which is what we love. We got the lobster linguini and the spaghetti with clams. Both were AMAZING. They tasted so fresh and authentic. Super delicious. We also got a cafe crema which was the best one we’ve had so far on our trip in Italy. It is a little bit more on the pricy side (paid 69€ including drinks) but I would definitely pay that again if that means I get to eat this lovely food. This was a little dog that walked around the bar, she was so cute. If you love animals this won’t bother you.. she didn’t bark or bother anyone. Occasionally she would bring us a ball for us to throw lol she reminded us of our dog back home. Be aware though that Google Maps will take give you the LONG route to get here. If you come along the coast of the mountain from the main beach it will take you straight there and only take...
Read moreA great relaxing day away from the busy beach in Positano. A 5 minute walk on the path and you're around the mountain on a separate beach with a great view and some chill staff with great food! We rented a chair for 10€ per person with an umbrella and use of the washroom and changroom. We ran a tab at the bar so we could bring drinks down to our lounge chair. A large beer was 5€ and spirits about 6€. After a full day of relaxing with drinks and a beach, we decided to have a chill supper on their patio. Some great simple dishes with chef specials available daily. Either they fish themselves in the morning or go to market for the catch of the day. Pizza is wonderful with a bit of char and a tasty sauce. Pasta and fresh fish dishes are light and perfect for a day after lounging on the beach. The pizza diavolo was spicy and about 9€. The chef special fish of the day was 15€. A more affordable option for the expensive town of Positano. We had a great time at Ferdinando and felt refreshed after a day of sunbathing...
Read moreWow. Paulo and company and ferndinando are awesome. We came here 3 times for lunch and were really impressed with the laid back service. The guys (our waiter crew) all went barefoot and encouraged us to do the same. They are marvelous hosts . The salad with tuna mozzarella olives and arugula is to die for. The view is spectacular. And the historry of this place exudes family pride from 1955. Little chica has the run of the place. A small poodle mix with her squeaky toys and Italian flair. The owners encourage you to play with her and delight when she catches her ball in air. The sun shines softly on this pleasant beach with the sound of the surf only matched by the song of the Italian waiters ordering your food in melodic Italian to the cook behind the counter. He bristles if you are not satisfied with the food and will send you free samples to test. Everyone here. I mean everyone is delightful and the food is excellent and purely amalfinao. ENJOY. Ask for paulo. We fell in love with the gentle men and...
