PERFECT! Great location and food with many amenities for guests. We made it to Fornillo Beach in Positano and found the Blue and White beach umbrellas with chairs right perfectly in the center of the beach. They happened to have 2 available front row beach chairs and we took them. The attendant, Vitali was so kind and professional. He set up the chairs for us and told us that we have access to the WIFI, bath, and changing room along with restaurant. Also, the boat off the pier is there's and runs periodically to the main city center of Positano free of charge. This boat ride made all the difference when it was time to go. We visited the Grassi restaurant and the food was fresh and the drinks were extremely refreshing. I had the Caprese sandwich and I couldn't get enough of the buffalo mozzerella! So delicious! We met one of the owners Davide who talked to us for a while about what to see and do. He told us a bit about Positano and in the process, he made us feel extremely welcomed. I would totally recommend this location to anyone...
Read moreFantastic beach club in Positano. You can easily walk to it from town but they also offer a boat shuttle from the main beach which is great. It’s nice to be on this beach since it’s not the port beach and offers better swimming and less crowding. We had beach chairs for the day and then lunch in the restaurant. The restaurant is great, our kids had and loved the meatballs, French fries and fruit plate. The adults all had paninis because we had been over stuffed with other foods but everything was fresh. It’s family run with one brother as the chef and the other as the main front of house. They were very kind. Also for the ladies there is a bathroom with a seat which is always a nice find. Also other reviewers complain about the pricing but the price for chairs is very in line with the rest of Italy (we spent much more on not nearly as fun of an experience elsewhere) and actually not bad...
Read moreI was recommended to the beach club by B&B. The beach club was simple and an easy process. I decided before we take the Grassi boat back to have an earlier dinner. Unfortunately, that experience was NOT pleasant. I realize I am in Italy but have ordered cranberry juice throughout my entire 5 days of exploring Italy. I am not sure what this red juice was but it was like liquid sugar. The waiter was nonchalant as I returned the syrup drink and asked for water. Surprisingly, I still had to pay 5 euros for the syrup that was returned. The other family server stated that I ordered it so, I will have to pay. Simply distasteful customer service. I’m sure if I was a local it would have been discarded. To those planning to eat at the beach bar, be sure you ONLY order what you’re familiar with because you will be CHARGED for it even if...
