Kayaking in Positano — Local services in Positano

One of the best days of our 2 weeks in Italy was spent kayaking with Alberto from the beach in Positano. After enjoying the scenery of the Amalfi Coast from our terrace high up in Conca dei Marina for a few days, seeing it from the water was a whole new, breathtaking experience! The scenery, with the sound and smell of the sea, was only made better by Alberto's deep knowledge of the history and culture of the coast. His stories and insights were funny, engaging, and really opened up the world of the Amalfi Coast to us in a way we would never have experienced on our own. Alberto is an excellent kayak guide, as well. He took us into caves and tunnels, weaving through a slalom course of rocks, and not once did my wife and I feel unsafe. As an added gift, Alberto took a ton of photos of us and of the scenery, and emailed them to us in just a few days. Alberto can't take credit for the perfect weather. But everything else was absolutely perfect because of his knowledge, humor, ability to tell a good story, and professionalism as a guide. If you're up for a paddle in the Mediterranean Sea and want to see this amazing coast from a different, more intimate perspective, Alberto is your guy! I cannot recommend him more. The best experience you can live in Positano!! It’s a must, especially if you really wanna appreciate some amazing views from all the sites of Positano, as well as some private beaches that are only reachable via private boats or kayaking The owner is very friendly and kind and will provide you with all necessary information and a waterproof bag to keep some essentials with you on the kano. He was really kind to keep us our personal belongings safe so we wouldn't have to curry everything with us. We payed 50€ for 2 hours, a little bit pricey in comparison to my country, however everything’s very expensive in Positano so thats a reasonable price i guess. Still though is a much cheaper option in comparison to private ferries and boats and the overall experience is more than worth it! Definitely will do that again a million times if we could Thank you...

This was the best Italian experience we’ve had so far! If you like to kayak or like to be on the water than this is a must - plus you get to escape the crowds for a few hours!

We emailed the night before and were very forunate to get a spot the next day at 9:30am-12:30

Our guide, Alberto was great - knowledgeable, funny and made sure we all had a good time. Before departure he reminded us to bring sunscreen, water and a hat as it would be extra hot. They provided water proof bags for whatever we wanted to bring. Alberto took us towards Praiano and through some rocks and caves and to a private beach to snorkel (he brought the gear).

We are so glad we booked a guided tour instead of just renting the kayaks. To top it off, Alberto took pictures for us (his own camera) and sent them to us a couple of days later.
