An Unforgettable Dining Experience

From the moment I walked into Luna,I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between elegance and warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The tasteful decor, soft lighting, and gentle background music set the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional evening.

The service was nothing short of outstanding. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their friendly demeanor made the experience all the more enjoyable. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in their work, and it truly enhanced the overall dining experience.

Now, onto the food—wow! Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and artistry. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, every bite was a revelation. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was impeccable, and the taste was simply divine. The chef's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the meal.

The overall experien Luna was a delightful journey for the senses. It’s a place where the atmosphere, service, and cuisine come together seamlessly to create a memorable dining experience. I left with a full belly and a smile on my face, already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re seeking a restaurant that offers both exceptional food and an inviting setting Luna is...

Luna Restaurant Review:

I recently dined at Luna, drawn by its promising location and stunning views. While the views were undeniably beautiful, the overall experience left much to be desired.

The food at Luna was overly creative, to the point where it became its downfall. The restaurant tried to impress with super inventive and interesting dishes, but they tasted very bad. The flavors were often mismatched and unappetizing, making each bite a chore rather than a delight.

The service was better than expected. The staff were attentive and friendly, which somewhat mitigated the disappointment from the food. They made an effort to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which I appreciated.

However, the seating was the worst part of the experience. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to enjoy the meal or the view. It's hard to relax and savor the moment when you're constantly shifting in your seat.

In summary, Luna might be worth a visit for the views alone. However, be prepared for overly creative yet poorly executed dishes and extremely uncomfortable seating. The service is a redeeming factor, making the visit more bearable despite the culinary and seating...

This was our third night in Positano and my wife has booked this months back after reading some good reviews. We were not fortunate enough to be staying st the property but that was never an issue for the staff here.

Atmosphere: 6 out of 5 stars 9 rooms at the villa and 9 tables to Dine at on the balcony/terrace. Great garden theme and while views are plenty in Positano, this would arguably be the best view in the city for sunset and dinner overlooking the city, beach and looking out into the ocean.

Food: 5/5 Perfectly prepared Catch of the day seafood selection. We chose the sea bream and Spiny lobster (Italian local) for our main courses and started with a Muscles in home Made tomato soup, With scampi on the side and some oysters. All Of it was cooked to perfection.

Service: 6/5 Gabriela, Raphael and the other guy were all awesome. True experts of the trade of service. Gabriela paired a perfect wine for dinner which given our tastes and the food selection wasn’t easy. Thank you all!

All and all we rated this one of the top 2 dinners we have shared together and we would very much like to come...

Definitely paying for location and the view. The rest was terrible. But you can take nice pictures for your social media, that’s about it. Food was bland and expensive, BUT very pretty. One of the blandest tartars I had in my life, but looked very nice for the pictures. Had two dishes with truffle - couldn’t taste it. It is not a truffle season now, but surely if you pay so much money for a truffle dish they should be able to find a good one. Instead they used some synthetic or bad truffle with no taste at all. Marinated 60 day beef was very chewy.. Completely course was not fresh and was not tasting nice, but can’t complain as it was free of charge. One Staff of the restaurant tried to clear our plates when I was still eating and I had to tell him twice I’m eating before he realised to put my plate down. Another staff I believe the manager asked how is everything twice. I said it was fine and he was satisfied with my answer. Honestly my advice from this experience go there for a drink, enjoy the view and eat elsewhere.

We spent 4 night at Villa Magia during our recent trip to Italy. The first 3 nights we ate at restaurants in Positano per the recommendation of Sandra at the Villa. But on the final night of our stay, per the recommendation of other Villa guests that we met by the pool, we decided to dine at the Villa. Our dinner at the villa remains the highlight of our entire trip to Europe this summer. We had a private table for 4 overlooking the Mediterranean. Our server, Gabriel, provided the most personalized and professional service we could have dreamed of. The restaurant does not have a menu or wine list. We trusted all of his wine recommendations (which were delicious). The chef comes out in the beginning of the experience to showcase all of the fresh caught seafood and highlight different ways that he can prepare the food. There is no menu, they can make whatever you want. It is such a unique and beautiful dining experience.
