Wow I can’t say enough about This place. I’ll start by saying I never write reviews, so that shows how great this place was. By far the best place we ate at during our stay in Positano AND the best staff. We were treated like family our first meal by our waiter, Vincenzo P. He was very attentive and had a great balance of being professional and funny. The chef also gave two complimentary Hors d’oeuvres that were delish. The bartender Vincenzo R (confusing I know) stopped in to ask how our meal was and mentioned he made a great espresso martini…he was correct it was delicious. We enjoyed our dinner so much we stopped back in for a bottle of wine and dessert after a dinner later in our stay. Funny thing was…we ended up ordering more food because we could resist. When we walked in for the second time Vincenzo P greeted us like family and found a spot for us on a busy night. Simone then took care of us and he was just as great. Very funny and attentive and the food was just perfect. I got a pasta dinner the first time and a wagyu steak carpaccio anti pasta(on special) the second time. Both were phenomenal. My wife got the filet both times and was in heaven. The desserts were so good as well. We watched the pastry chef prepare them and it was clear he was passionate and tedious with his art. It showed big time and was so delicious Long story short, be sure to check our O’hima. It’s worth the price, no doubt. We look forward to coming back again

It’s been a week since i’ve visited this restaurant, but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it, and I just knew I had to leave a review. Me and my husband came here the very last night of our Italy two week trip, and it was the highlight of our entire vacation. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the service was phenomenal, the entire team was so lovely. Our waiter was so pleasant, very friendly, and did a fantastic job explaining all of the dishes we were eating. We went with the chefs choice tasting menu, and it was just divine. Every dish was perfection. And the presentation was truly a work of art. I have not been able to stop thinking about the cacio and uovo starter, I crave it almost every day. You can tell that the chef is incredibly creative, and gives lots of thought to every single ingredient. We don’t drink alcohol, and this is the only spot we found in Positano that serves incredible mock-tails, so that made us very happy. I am so sad that I will not be able to come here again (I live in the United States), because truly I want to try every single dish on that menu. Thank you to the Ohima team and the chef for making our last night so magical!

Came in for lunch on a Monday at around 12:30. We happened to be there on the opening day of the season. They start you off with some bread and olive oil/balsamic. The olive oil/balsamic were simple (and probably just from the supermarket) but it was so good, compared to anything we have back at home in The States. For food, we shared the mixed grilled fish and the gnocchi with zucchini. The mixed grilled fish had swordfish, squid, shrimp, and octopus served on a bed of greens and mandarins. Everything was amazing and tasted fresh, and was perfectly grilled. The squid melted in your mouth. Hubby, who hates swordfish, even said this swordfish was good. The gnocchi was also good, but I feel like some lemon might have brightened up the dish. Overall, a great meal and some of the best seafood we had on this Italy trip.

The food was good. The service was not.

I had to wait a good 10 minutes from my order to be taken. I picked out the mains for my kids and myself and wanted to ask questions about appetizers before my menu was plucked from my hands and the server walked away. I then had to waive him back over to add an appetizer to our order.

30 minutes after we sat down my son's pizza was brought out along with a couple of amuse buche.

We thought our food was going to be along any minute so he ate his food. Our food did not come out for another hour! And, they didn't bring the appetizer!!!

During this time the server didn't even come check with us. I had to keep flagging him down and asking what was going on. He didn't even come to check if we wanted more water!

The restaurant was not busy. He was either on his phone at the bar with his back turned to the customers or he was behind the bar consuming food himself. Now I don't know if the restaurant across the street is different than the patio. But the patio service was absolutely awful! In fact when I was asking where our food was the waiter gestured to another family and said their food isn't here yet either and it's been 40 minutes. I.e why are you complaining?!

I'm sorry that is absolutely not acceptable! And even if the food is running late, servers should check in with the diners and give them a heads up. Maybe check to see if they want more food or beverage...
