Cavallino Bianco — Restaurant in Rapallo

We were sitting inside, television was on very loudly. We sat down and saw a waiter next to us put spit on his finger to clean a stain on the table cloth. The food was very bland, the only taste was added by cheese we got in a plastic bag. Whilst we were eating the staff was arguing loudly with customers next to us about the price of the food. A lot of loud "basta".

We left without finishing our meal, we felt the hygiene was poor and the food was not good.

No idea what the people with good reviews were eating but we definitely didn't have the same experience.

Really disappointing, especially since the ratings...

8 Brits, 4 adults, 3 teenagers and a 9month old - every one of us were delighted with our meals. Italiano pizza (pictured) quite literally felt like having a little slice of Italy. We had an assortment of pasta, pizza and side dishes, all were squisito! Each course arrived with great timing. Great value for money for families too, recommend the Tourist Deal which allows you to get 3 courses for €15.50 per person, seriously! Delicious food and great service. The walnut pasta and beef cut especially are highly recommended. (Tip: combine the cut with a little bit of the walnut sauce for an amazing combination)
