The service was just unprofessional. It ruined what could have been a great Rome final dinner out.

You order --- what you order. We didn't order bread. But we got bread - 6 Euros on the bill. And with the meal not before the dinner when you are supposed get bread.

We weren't really finished as they rushed the table to clear it. I was still eating but my guests were. 2 staff rushed in and clearing like it was a back of. Even Throwing my empty bottle of iced tea into the not yet empty bread basket. Which I was still eating. They Tried to take my girlfriends 1/2 full 7 euro drink away without asking. Just not high-end service at all.

The waitress was just not very nice. Way too curt in language and when the bill came @ 127 euros I was told service is not included. Yeah thanks for the coax. It's the EU and if you get great/exceptional service you deserve a tip. I have had better service at the food court in the airport. You get nada. This is a tourist trap move = pass.

As for the food. Excellent. The seabass was perfecto. Best I have had out the 3x I have had it in Rome. $36 is JUST overpriced IMHO. The pistachio pizza Perfecto as well The bread we didn't order or get to finish. Was great too.

The atmosphere is superb as you can see in the photos. It's a really nice space. We sat inside.

It was not crowded at all

Overall Disappointed. From the 4.5 star review I expected better. We specifically chose this place for the rating.

We felt so rushed out that we went down the street to the square and paid to use the water closet instead of the...

The location inside is Instagram-worthy, but if you will choose outside, you forget about “the stunning views of Piazza Mignanelli” …you will share your food with cars parking everywhere (blocking the view) and birds of different nature. The service is ok, but the food is overeating and overpriced: maybe the owner think they are a gourmet restaurant and the food presentation certainly try to go in that direction (in my opinion, failing miserable because is really too much), but the taste is normality. The price, in the other hand, is not in compliance with to the quality: too expensive. Except for the beautiful painting ceiling, everything in this restaurant is artificial: the place mat is plastic (but gold color!), napkins are not fabric but paper and all the glass got an orribile “A” with wings like the restaurant logo…not elegant at all for sure. The cocktail are acceptable. Defined as “restaurant and cocktail bar”, if you are there after 10 pm, location and area around are sadly empty, better to move in a different place. Staff working is nice, but for sure not enough during peak moments and so you have to wait or maybe you get the wrong order. Who run this place (it was not clear when I was here) should make a lot of improvements. Maybe for one night stand event is sufficient…but long-distance all that glitter...

Angie’s Restaurant is a restaurant in the tourist area of Rome, Italy. They have a large outdoor patio with many tables, but we opted for the indoors. It has a nice interior with beautiful decorations. Our waiter was initially great, but as the restaurant got busy, we were forgotten about. [BREAD] +Complimentary bread - 3/5 [SALADS] +Insalata Caprese (buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil) for €22 - 4.5/5 [PASTA] +Tagliolini All'Astice in Bella Vista (Lobster Tagliolini with Lobster in "Bella Vista") for €35 - This was all excellent, but there is very little meat when it comes to the lobster. The waiter will crack open the shell and scoop out all of the meat for you (which I loved). - 4.5/5 [ROMAN PIZZA] +Formaggiosa / Cheesy Dream (Mozzarella, Selection of Cheeses, and Salami) for €25 - This was much too cheesy. We couldn’t eat past a bite. - 1/5 Overall, Angie’s Restaurant was good. Service was great initially. I liked that the lobster shell was cracked and had the meat scooped out for me in real-time. The pizza was disgusting though. I would order a different pizza than the one we got. By the end of the night, our waiter did forget about us, and we had to chase him down to pay. I would recommend checking this place out if eating in this area.
