I went there on easter Holliday, the store Was Full and had a waiting line outside, It took about 30 minutes to get in. As I Was waiting outside i noticed a bunch of people walking out with no shopping bags Just holding cĆ¢mera or smartphone. One couple behind me had one of those huge dslr pro cam and when someone walked out of the store holding 3 big shop bags, the couple asked him to borrow the shop bags for the girl to take pictures holding them, the Guy Was surprised but Let her take pictures with his shop bags and after that the couple left the line šš When I walked inside the store there were a Lot of people there acting like they were shopping at H&M on sale, being loud, touching and messing everything, keeping SAs busy and dominating all the mirrors and Seats because they were vlogging.šš It took about 10 minutes to get assistance and It Was only possible because a kind chinese girl (thank you šš¤)didn't mind to share as I Said I wanted the same bag as she Was seeing. Before that i waited att An empty counter but a Korean couple appeared out of nowhere, got close and kept pushing me out of the counter #RUDE ASF ššš The SA Was very Nice and helpful and when I decided the color after trying 2, he went inside and got a brand New never been touched bag, even though the one i tried It Was also New and only touched by the chinese girl (i Saw when he unwraped the bag for her to try on), so i really aprecciated. He also apologized many times for both of US for the divided attentionš If you ever Go there ask for male SA they overall seemed nicer then the female (2 of them were Just talking and texting while there were people waiting). In the end, i had a great experience there thanks to my SA and the kind chinese. However, i suggest to avoid Holiday, as many people Just Go for vlogging and take pictures while stressing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing this just after leaving the Gucci flagship store in Rome, and Iām honestly still in disbelief at what happened. My friend and I both Black women were waiting in the shoe section, chatting and patiently waiting for assistance. After sitting there for quite some time with no help, we got up to look for someone.
As we stood, a sales associate came from the back. I greeted her first with a friendly āBuongiornoā, and my friend did the same. She looked directly at us, made eye contact, and walked right past without acknowledging us. My friend then said, āExcuse me, do you work here?ā The woman slowly turned around with clear annoyance, put her hand up and snapped, āIāll find you someone,ā before storming off. We were shocked. Completely speechless.
Moments later, the manager came out. We explained what happened, expecting at least a basic apology. Instead, we got excuses. Rather than taking responsibility or addressing the unprofessional and clearly discriminatory behavior, she defended her employee.
This behavior is not only unprofessional, itās blatantly disrespectful. Itās even more disappointing considering the amount of money my friend and I spend with Gucci. To be treated like we were invisible and then as if we were a problem for asking for help is absolutely unacceptable.
Gucci, this is not the level of service you claim to represent. You need...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery shocked and disappointed by my experience at this Gucci shop. I bought a fine jewellery ring yesterday afternoon with my mom. The reception was pathetic. While waiting outside two young girls (who were obviously not looking forward buying anything) overtook us in the queue while we were waiting outside. The receptionist kindly chatted with them, but dared to ask my mom to move from the door when it was our turn, in a very aggressive way. Whatās more when we entered the store she added to her collegues, probably thinking that we wouldnāt understand, that we were french (sono francese). Is it the reason why we were treated so badly ? I knew what i wanted, and asked to see the ring. I was very quick, and just wanted basic respect from the staff. When we bought the ring the salesgirl didnāt even know that fine jewellery required an authentification certificate and I had to ask for it (which is problematic for a brand who is seemingly trying so hard to get into the jewellery market.) All the customers were escorted back at the door. We barely got a goodbye, and of course we were not escorted. Does one need to be rude to be considered by Gucci ? We can totally understand how busy and tired the staff can be considering the global customer behaviour, but this lack of professionalism is alarming. The ring is...
