Donāt bother. Food is good. However, if you are an American....they will likely treat you with veiled (or in our case) blatant distain and disgust. We had lunch there today (to the tune of 110 euros) and after our first course....they brought the second course and motioned for us to just move the plates instead of first removing the finished plates. I simply said āPerhaps you should first move the other plates because we have no roomā. The snippy older woman with short blondish hair (photo attached) looked down at me, gave me a nasty look and said āThank you so much for giving me a lesson on how to serveā. To say she was nasty and off putting, would be an understatement. Then some Italians came and sat down, and I watched how cheerful and joking she was. She gave us dirty looks, never once checked on us, and made us feel very unwelcome.
Not sure if she assumed we wouldnāt tip (which is ironic because she ensured we wouldnāt with that attitude). The food was mediocre at best, and there are definitely better spots nearby ā especially ones that donāt make you feel uncomfortable for just existing. Super disappointing, do...

So, the question, is in a city with over a hundred restaurants, where do you go? We walked around viewing the sites, and after a long walk, decided we wanted a place that was hidden away from the hustle and bustle of all the historical sites in Rome. Not because we didnāt enjoy the beautiful architecture, there were just too many of us tourists! Our search landed us at Mignanelli24. Outstanding meal selections and awesome wine selection. Tatiana was the rockstar of our evening. She recommended a bottle of Baccarossa, Lazio 2021ā¦...
