It was God awful. The service was unacceptable and the waiters were very rude and arrogant. I ordered "Al Prosciutto" pizza from the special offer menu (pizza + drink). I asked them if it was any different than the normal pizza. They said no. My girlfriend ordered Capricciosa pizza for herself. What we got was plainly unacceptable. You can see for yourself. When I got my "Prosciutto" pizza, I told the waiter "Excuse me, I ordered Prosciutto pizza". And he looked at me in the eye and told me "That is prosciutto pizza. Prosciutto crudo". When I told him "No, that is not prosciutto crudo, I know what prosciutto looks like" he LAUGHED at me and said "You don't believe me?". I asked for the manager and the other waiter came and said that he was said manager. I asked him what that insult of a pizza that was, he replied "This is prosciutto pizza, that is what we eat". I showed him a picture of a real prosciutto pizza from google images and he told me "Yes, that's the same" when it was clearly not. It was just ham, and the cheapest you could find. I gave it the benefit of a doubt and tasted the pizza, it was awful. And take a look at the cappricosa pizza and tell me what you think about that. I was kind enough to ask for the bill and payed for that fraud of a pizza, they didn't even offer a discount. My girlfriend didn't even touch it. They took the money and gave me the change in a very disrespectful way. I wish I could give this place a negative rating so that people wouldn't get tricked into...
Read moreWe are on vacation and happy. After all, we are in Rome. We've already eaten at a place nearby, Sapore Di Roma. The owner of SAPORI DI ROMA was overflowing with so much friendliness that it was almost overwhelming. However, here at Aquila Nera, it's quite different. The young man we asked for a table didn't even look at us. Well, we chose our food, but it took a long time for our order to be taken. We asked for help with the wine, and two options were shown on the menu. Later, we saw people having the wine, and when we asked, we were told it was the house wine and was not offered to us. Well, it doesn't end here. We had barely finished our salad when another waiter placed a hot dish on our table, even though there was no space. It was a horrible experience. I felt so offended by the service. And it wasn't just me; I saw a lady passing by, and she was approached by an employee from this place. How many people, she was asked, and she replied, 'Five.' The waiter was escorting the lady, but in the middle of the way, he saw another acquaintance and left her standing there, looking lost. She stayed with the people she was with, in the middle of nowhere, and then another person arrived. She muttered something in frustration and left. I haven't finished my meal yet, but I'm so irritated that I'm writing this at the moment. THIS PLACE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO VALUE THE CUSTOMER WHO...
