Food was mediocre… The waiters also misunderstood each other which led to us being overcharged. It took my group of friends a bit of time to sort things out with the waiter to get the actual total. This apparently also made them paranoid and they sent a waiter out to make sure “we didn’t run away” while also saying something “police” to one another, which we interpreted as them considering calling the police on us even though we were just a group of Danish students wanting a cozy dinner on our last day here. Also if you’re gluten intolerant then don’t even consider coming here as my friend got served what essentially was a dry-cardboard tasting frozen pizza.

STAY AWAY IF GLUTENFREE Horrible place! Please avoid at all costs. Service was bad. They were impatient but worst of all they lied to us. The server told us when we ordered the pizza menu we would get free soft drinks, so therefore we all ordered that. But no, when we got the bill we had to pay for all the drinks. And they tried to charge us for 20 euro more by putting a more expensive menu on the bill. Then the food.. I am gluten free and got the most dry, small frozen pizza. The picture speaks for itself. Very frustrating experience, and also very slow service. Just do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

My family has been to several food places throughout France and Italy during our trip, but none of them have compared to our lovely waiter Franco and the team at Nuova Stella!! The food was to DIE for and the customer service was AMAZING!! From the first time we sat down it felt as though we had known everyone like family as they are so warm and welcoming, and the food comes out really quickly for how busy they usually are! We would recommend going to drop by even just to have a drink to be able to experience how remarkable this place really is. We love our Italian family at a Nuova Stella!!!!

First of all, the water is water of their tap. Later, we got the bread (that was of the previous day) and we started ordering. We ordered “Fetuccini al Ragú”, that was a good dish, but absolutly not outstanding. Later, we got “Canellonni a la Romana feti in Casa”, that were horrible: they flavour were incredibly strong (with a lot of wine taste. But really A LOT of wine taste), not pasta flavour, not cheese, not bechamel, not any single similar flavour of what is suposed to be in a Canellonni… the vomit smell was the protagonist in our noses, which made our experience even worse. Then we got some veal, that was very small, and with rancid and old potatoes of garnish. Finaly we got a Turamisú, that was not bad, but no great. I do not even know why I get them two stars, maby for the pasta and the tiramisú. But in my humble opinion, they do not deserve a single one.

About the service, I think that is the worst service that we have proved in Rome during our five-day tour. We got attended by 3 or maby 4 diferent waiters. Their english was very poor, and they forgot to take out our Canellonni (we waited for about 25 minutes). And there is more. There was not any kind of coordination between them. They offered us to take note two times, and if we ordered our food anither one (and the restaurant was empty, so they could not be overburneded. I can’t find explanation for that). They are not friendly, we did not feel confortable there.

For ending I will say that I recomend a kebab near there instead going to that restaurant. Is not the cheapesh one and we tried better ones which...

My boyfriend and I were strolling from the Rome train station when we stumbled upon a lovely looking bar. A man at the entrance described the menu to us, even though we mentioned we were just looking for drinks. He informed us about the happy hour, offering beers, cocktails, and wine for €7. We were thrilled and decided to stay!

From 5:45 PM, we enjoyed three limoncello spritzes, a litre of Moretti, and a 0.40 of Moretti. When we asked for the bill, to our surprise, it came to a lot more than we’d expected. Spoke with the waiter, reminding him that the man had mentioned the happy hour pricing, but he insisted that I hadn't mentioned it to him. It shouldn't be our responsibility to state it's happy hour when it was offered to us!

Ultimately, it's not just about the money; it's about being misled. The bar itself is lovely, but we won't be returning. It felt as though we were taken advantage of, and we would have gladly left a tip if we hadn't been deceived about...
