After walking around Rome's tourist sites and hungry for some food, we stumbled across this gem, partially thanks to Professor Google.
This is a genuine HALAL fast food restaurant selling, pizzas, burgers, kebabs, as well as other Bangali/Indian dishes. We weren't expecting much in terms of taste, so when we received our order of spicy grilled chicken salad and spicy donor wrap and took a bite, we loved it. The taste was spot on, simply amazing. It came as a meal with fries and soft drinks.
Meals are between Euro 7 to 12.
It is not easy to find halal food in Rome, and non-Muslim restaurants claiming to be halal are not halal, especially as most sell pork. It's evident cross-contamination is occurring, as they use the same utensils for cooking. Also, they don't understand what is halal; they think it's about draining the blood.
I highly recommend this place, about 2 to 3 min walk from the Pantheon, for Muslim travellers. It will be on my list of recommended places to eat for people I know...
Read moreJust don't come here I'm still sitting and eating, and the owner let these people violated my dining space. Plus the food is not as good as the reviews. Its a fraud.
16:21 25th, 2025 updated: The owner accused me for sitting more than one hour, that's was a terrible mistake. According to my google map, I only stayed here for less than 42 minutes, including the 10 minutes waiting time for a table, a table a white Caucasian was eating lunch alone in the same 4 persons table. Im very surprised that Rome itself is a advanced and civilised city, but I blame for my mistake trusting the reviews that treated me like a third world. Not to mention that the chicken smells weird and darky and oily. I wondered when was the last time they changed the fried oil. I didn't really want to mention how bad the food was, only the service. But since the onwer blame me for giving them an honest review, I'll just have to share my honest opinions to everyone else who might read it...
Read moreSmall portions, they don’t even come with sauces which they don’t specify. So when your food arrives dry you need to pay extra for some ketchup to go with your meal (had the chicken strip box with fries). Also, the service is terrible we, 2 girls, were cussed out by the man working behind the counter in Italian because we didn’t have change… he thought we wouldn’t understand and when I told him I understood Italian he was surprised and then decided to double down by pulling out every profanity in the book. I’m also convinced there is nothing halal about this place. Absolute garbage, avoid at length. Edit: just read other reviews where it appears bad service is a theme. Instead of apologising, the owner (or whoever runs their digital marketing) seems to try and justify their actions by blaming the customer. Wish I had read these before going, it is obvious these people are more concerned with money than offering good service. I guess you get what...
