Based on the strength of review I booked Lifestyle Suites Rome for the beginning of our 10 day trip to Italy for our 20th anniversary. I can honestly say that we could not have wished for a better way to start our trip. The hotel and our room were simultaneously classical and beautiful in design, yet with every modern amenity. The light and temperature can be controlled from anywhere in the room, which is neat. My wife was head-over-heals about the size and features of the shoer (the little things matter). The bed was comfortable and turned down each night. You cannot beat the location. Looking out over Piazza Navona as such an amazing way to start and end the day. The architecture of Chiesa di Sant'Agnese in Agone is a wonderful thing to behold and, as someone raised Catholic, being able to walk across and sit in this sacred space in prayer for reflection was truly meaningful. The Piazza itself is so lively, and yet it never felt noisy from our room. Having access to several great restaurants just outside our door was also fantastic, as was the fact that we could easily walk to Trevi Fountain in just about 10 minutes, and The Pantheon in about 5 minutes. Last but not least, the staff. The staff of Lifestyle Suites Rome are amazing. The level of care started the day we booked with a questionnaire about how to make our stay the best. They were responsive to all questions in a very timely fashion even though I was writing from the US and there was a 6 hour time difference. Upon arrival they helped acclimate us to getting around in Rome which, come from Philadelphia, took some getting used to. No need went unmet and was always addressed with kindness and courtesy. For example, the power converted we purchased on Amazon caused a short in the circuit our first day there. The fixed it in under 5 minutes and loaned us an adapter without blinking. Any question we had they answered, anything we needed they were there. They are also just genuinely nice people to talk to. Oh, one last memory, Sunday afternoon we were having drinks on the rooftop and were able to watch an operatic performance on the rooftop of Chiesa di Sant'Agnese in Agone just across the courtyard. During my recent stay at the hotel, I experienced ongoing water issues in the presidential suite that were not sufficiently addressed by the management. The hot and cold water consistently failed during baths and showers, leading to discomfort and inconvenience. Despite these persistent problems, the management seemed reluctant to take responsibility, instead trying to attribute the issue to external factors.

On the bright side, the hotel proactively offered snacks in response to the situation, which was a nice gesture. However, it took significant back-and-forth for them to provide a partial refund and some complimentary services, which somewhat compensated for the problems faced. Management should have been more proactive in offering appropriate compensation after the repeated plumbing issues. The hotel staff, apart from management, were exceptional and made my interactions with them enjoyable.

While I cannot fully recommend this hotel, those who choose to stay after the completion of the ongoing construction may have a better experience. Keep in mind that you may need to actively advocate for yourself if you encounter issues during your stay.

Edit: Management replied and they mentioned they gave me a refund. They didn’t mention how much back and forth it took for me to get that refund.
