BEWARE!!! This place is a money scam. They are highly aggressive, rude, and fraudulent. They pretty much came up and grabbed my girlfriend’s arm and who I believe is the owner said, “Come inside. Will give you free limoncello and a glass of Prosecco for free if you come in”. He grabbed her arm and walked her into the restaurant so we went in. We were constantly harassed to order the specialty fish which was the highest cost item. We said “no thanks” and tried to order other things, but he said “no, you don’t want that it’s no good. It’s frozen and not fresh” which is odd to say about your own entrees. He would not let us order what we wanted as he kept telling us that we didn’t want that. Never been so uncomfortable at a restaurant and wish we would have left at that point. He brought out gnocchi that we didn’t order and then argued with us that we ordered it. My girlfriend ordered the bread and I had a small beer (which I charged for a large) and he brought out a shrimp pasta. In short, we were charged $56 for that. They charged us for the “free” limoncello (which we never got) and “free” Prosecco and charged us for the meal that they put on our table that we had them take back when it was delivered.
They are dishonest, misleading thieves. I filed a complaint and a complaint with credit card company and got our money...
Read moreOne of the restaurants where you will feel cheated. The main goal of the waiters is just to charge you as much as possible.
We were on 31.12. and first we were told that there was no pizza because it was a holiday and that there was no pizza master in the kitchen, when the waiter saw that we were going to give up because our daughter wanted a pizza, he said ok, we will make her a pizza and she got a perfectly good pizza (it is obvious that the chef makes pizza too and that there is no special pizza master). The waiter immediately stands over your head and forces you to order, I asked "Do you have beer?" he immediately responded "ok beer" and write it down, he didn't even ask me which beer, nor did he give me time to look at what beer he had, in order to bring me a draft beer of 1 liter that I didn't even manage to drink and for which I paid 17 EUR even though I actually wanted just a small beer with dinner. My mistake for not asking, but I didn't really expect that he would use it in such a way as to bring me the biggest and most expensive and not even ask me which one. I ordered seafood risotto, got gnocchi (which didn't taste bad, but I didn't ask for it!).
At the end: gnocchi, pizza margherita, beer (liter!) and juice = 51 EUR + 10 EUR service = 61 EUR for an average meal.

Read moreI strongly do not recommend this restaurant. This was our last night in Rome and the final night of our trip, and this establishment has unfortunately left us with a final, negative impression of the city and the entire journey.
The bill was exactly three times the price we had estimated from the menu. This was not a simple misunderstanding due to my lack of Italian. When asked about the size of the calamari, I clearly requested a small portion, but they served small cuttlefish (calamari/squid) instead of large squid and deceptively encouraged us to order two plates for a party of three at 9 PM. It is clear they served a dish entirely different from the menu photo and used ambiguous language to charge excessive amounts.
Regarding the beer, I requested a small size, knowing one was available, but they served three of the largest 1-liter glasses, priced at 15 euros each.
For the Bruschetta, mozzarella was added arbitrarily without my request, resulting in a charge of 10 euros instead of the 6-euro menu price.
This is not a matter of miscommunication. We were charged a grossly excessive price through language that was clearly misleading and designed to confuse the customer.
I have video evidence documenting all the details of...
