Read moreI was extremely delighted with my amazing experience with the freshly handmade pasta from Pastasciutta! It was truly an unforgettable experience. The pasta was delicious and luxurious, and I could feel the quality of the ingredients used, which enhanced my experience wonderfully.
Pastasciutta offers a wide range of sauces, allowing customers to customize their meals according to their preferences. After tasting my wonderful meal, I felt like I was savoring authentic Italian dishes.
The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although the prices were reasonable and acceptable, there was a somewhat long wait for the freshly prepared meal, but this is understandable given the high quality of the food served.
I am grateful for discovering Pastasciutta, and I will definitely repeat my experience with them over and over again. If you are looking to taste the most delicious and fresh pasta, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this shop and exploring their fantastic selection of pasta dishes.
Despite all these positives, there are two negatives that should be mentioned. Firstly, the shop is small with limited seating capacity, which may result in crowding, especially as it is located near the Vatican, attracting thousands of visitors daily. Secondly, there are no restrooms inside the shop.
Overall, I can't help but strongly recommend trying out this wonderful shop if you're seeking a delightful and distinctive experience with freshly made...
Read moreNo frills pasta place with only a few varieties to choose from. Note that you can't pick which pasta you want for each sauce; what's on the menu is what you get!
Service was super quick, despite a long queue. We got the Carbonara (when in Rome, right?) and received a paper bowl heaped with steaming pasta in less than 10 minutes!
The spaghetti was delicious and al dente (which means there's a certain chewiness to it), and the classic pepper taste was fabulous. The cheese used seems different from the pecorino Romano I was expecting, but I'm no expert so I could be wrong! The guanciale wasn't as crispy as I would have liked, but they were generous with the meat and it was still fragrant and added much needed sodium to the dish.
Serving size was huge, possibly enough for one and a half people, and for only €6,50 you'd be hard-pressed to find an option with better value.
Note that this is more of a street food joint, so don't expect toilets or fancy seating—other than a few counter seats in a cramped space, we were all standing around the street eating from paper bowls!
All in all, a scrumptiously filling experience that doesn't break the bank, and a great option for a quick bite on your way to or from...
