Our flight back to the US was suddenly canceled and being a Sunday, last minute museum tickets were sold out but having lunch at this wonderful pizza spot made our day! We met Andrea, one of the owners who was so very kind and helpful. The food here was outstanding-I had the Cacio e Pepe pizza which was crunchy and spiced to perfection as well as a traditional suppli (fried risotto croquette) that was by far the most delicious I had in Rome. The store itself is tiny with two small standing counters on the inside and a few cafe tables on the sidewalk, but the food is scrumptious. Besides super yummy and "hitting the spot," it's at a great price for the quality and taste of what you're getting. I discovered this spot as i was walking down the street looking for a place to eat and boy oh boy am I glad I did! Went there 3 times because I liked it so much for a quick bite to eat. The two owners are the most friendly and welcoming pair and their warm personalities make you want to return again and again (they've helped me so much with my Italian too).
