When we arrived in Rome, we lunched here. We enjoyed the pizzas so much that we decided to eat here again before our departure (10.07.2024). Being vegetarians, we asked the vendor to clean the cutting utensils. However, he was rude and made a fuss about it. Fortunately, another very kind employee from Bangladesh noticed our request and promptly took care of it, ensuring our pizzas were cut with clean utensils.
As we were eating our pizzas, we noticed they were badly burnt (see photos). I showed them to the vendor and pointed out they were burnt. He ignored me and mumbled something in Italian, leading me to believe we were being insulted. I again pointed out the burnt pizzas, and he simply gestured towards the trash can. We paid for burnt pizza, which is also weighed here. It is disrespectful that one has to argue at all! I asked the vendor if he would eat the burnt pizzas, and he said no. So why the long discussion? This is the worst hospitality I have experienced as a tourist in any country. I strongly advise against coming here. You will be scammed and insulted in Italian. The only nice employee here is the one from Bangladesh (many kind...
