Date of Visit: Dec 19-24 (1 Visit). Came in for Takeout, Brunch (mid-late morning). Purchased and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 different types of Paninis (as shown in one of the pictures; other pic shows only 2 types). I ordered 5 Panini sandwiches. My family devoured them back at the hotel. Very filling, hot, terrific crust, and meaty, cheesy inside. The gentleman behind the counter took my order (and was at first surprised that I wanted so many), he then fired up the two panini toasters behind him to heat and toast them up, which took about 7 or so minutes. As shown, the price for the "Assorted Panini" is 4.50 Euro (sorry for the glare on the picture), which for a sandwich which measured almost the equivalent of two slices of toast in total FOOTPRINT...this was not only a good deal but a great quick brunch sandwich. We did not try the pastries or cold sandwiches, but wanted to on our next visit (which never happened due to simply running out of time in Rome). Read moreStayed at the hotel above Neapolis Caffe the week of 9-Feb and visited the cafe a few times. Enjoyed several items such as an omelette, a turkey sandwich, coffee and some pastries. We were always treated like valued customers (even though our Italian is non existent). Food was delicious. They have a very broad menu for breakfast/lunch so if traveling with a group, I think there is definitely something for everyone. All that said, the best thing I can say is that if we find ourselves in Rome again, we would not hesitate to visit...
Read morePoor lady behind the counter serving was running the entire store single handed. Coffee and croissants were nice. Ham and cheese toasted sandwiches were nice but chicken and salad toast was horrible. Just a bit of cheese would have made a massive difference. It was offered as there wasn’t enough ham and cheese toasts but she could have suggested the ham and cheese roll but I suppose she was flat out and worked like a machine.
