PaStation - Roma Barberini — Restaurant in Rome

The food was fine, the service below average. The staff were unattentive and never served the wine and soft drinks we ordered, despite there being only very few customers at the time. When we were ready to pay, we got up and went to the counter where you pay. The staff standing right in front of us ignored us for quite a while. Checking her phone messages was a priority, then she tried to charge us for the drinks we never received. That was strange, since she was the one who took our order and never delivered. Too bad, the restaurant otherwise...

Big No!!! Do not waste your money ! Most horrible experience eating out anywhere in the world and a total failure as far as my family and I can tell. We were extremely disappointed after what appeared to be an nice place place. The food tasted like it came out of a can.

My lasagna appeared to be reheated in a microwave and the food that my family ordered was simply tasteless. We saturated it with olive oil and Parmesan cheese from the table just to be able to eat it.

We were there before 7pm on a Saturday night in December and were the only table. It picks up quite a bit a little later. The pasta is good but we'd say it's less of an "authentic Italian restaurant" than just a place in Rome to have decent pasta. Prices are roughly the same as any other more authentic place with Italian flare and atmosphere, so if you're after an amazing meal in a real Italian restaurant, there are probably better places in Rome.
