This charming sit-in restaurant is a true local gem, immediately inviting with its cozy, lively atmosphere and the comforting aroma of authentic Italian cooking. It was exactly the experience we hoped for. The service was truly wonderful. Despite our limited Italian and the servers' minimal English, the staff handled the language barrier with genuine patience, warmth, and good humor. Our server's kindness transcended language, ensuring we felt welcomed, valued, and completely at ease throughout our meal. The entire staff deserves commendation for their delightful professionalism. The food quality and cooking mastery here are simply outstanding. The dish that stole the show was the Carbonara Pizza. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was arguably the best pizza I have ever had: the base was perfectly crisp, and the topping—rich with Pecorino Romano and smoky guanciale—was crowned by an egg, which added an incredible, creamy richness that pulled the whole dish together. It is an absolutely essential plate of food to try when visiting. This restaurant is a must-visit. The sensational, high-quality food, combined with the genuinely kind service, makes this a five-star dining experience. We will definitely...

I've never seen a restaurant require this and it was baffling since he seemed to have no issue with it when I ordered. The whole interaction left me feeling very disrespected and, as a tourist, scared of another restaurant treating me the same way. I'm sure the food would've been good but this interaction was very...
Read moreSalve. I’ll write in English so everyone can understand except probably your employees because they have the worst costumer service and right in the middle of Trastevere. And you could say maybe the fact that is in trastevere is ok to be rude with people (tourist) that is not, but you’re completely wrong when your pizzaiolo and your cashier lady treat their collegues really bad when a person (apparently italian) came to ask for a bottle of water they said they don’t sell water. Well pizza was ok, niente di speciale. Ma le persone, mamma mia. Just watch out if you are around looking for something to eat. Well don’t expect nice people just...
