Please trust me when I say this is the most value you will find in a Roman meal. Tiny and popular with locals, Glorioso serves a pasta, beer AND coffee for €6,50 which is totally unheard of in this beautiful but expensive city. The staff are friendly even if English is limited, their portions are generous and the taste... Belissimo! A big plate of vegetables means it's veg and vegan friendly. They also have free wifi so you can share photos and make everyone back home extremely jealous. I stayed in a Airbnb across the street for a month and I went to this little cafe almost daily. I loved it because we quickly met the regulars and Marco the owner and they made a feel right at home. The clientele is 95 percent real Romans, and it gives it that authentic flavor. The food is excellent, and, in the mornings, I would stop for a cappuccino and croissant. Cute little bar up the street from our airbnb so you know we spent a lot of time there! Best coffee we had during our time in Rome, and the lunches rival the best places in Trastevere.
