I visited this restaurant because of good ratings, but my expectations were maybe to high cause of the rating. Its a good looking rastaurant so the first touch was more than ok. I was with my wife and hoped for a nice dinner. Service was great, starters were good too. I had a carpacio 8/10. The main dish was a bit of disapointment. I ordered a medium rare fillet beef with potatos and grilled vegatables. The steak was served realy hot witout any time to rest and was over done. I would say medium well to well done. It was realy dry, such a waste of good meat. The vegetables was without taste and was burned, specialy the onion. Its was burn to black (uneatable) , i dont know how can someone serve this? Are they blind? My wifes tuna salad was good. I gave the steak a chance and ate more than a half of it. No chance, very dry meat. After i told this to the waiter two things happend. I was offered a new steak, what i appreciate and is more than ok, but i refused cause i was full. The second thing was that i had a feeling that we were immidiatly put down at the bottom of the list. Everything took double the time, i ordered water and nothing, had to order finaly after 15 min. when a waiter did appear. Ordered than a desert. It was good, no complains at all. Good combination of orange sorbet and chocolate lava cake. And again we had to wait for 15 min to tell someone to get the check. Than another 15 to get it, and another 10 to pay it with CC. I noticed that everyone did get some cakes to take away whan payed. Guess what we didnt. If i would recomend this restaurant to a friend? I would, but only in case he sits down and...
Read moreJut returned from dinner at this restaurant. WORST dining experience in Rome. We intended to try a different restaurant in the neighborhood, but when that one was empty and this one looked lively, we changed our minds on a whim. BIG MISTAKE.
All you need to know is there was a huge cockroach ON THE TABLE next to us while people were sitting there and the waitstaff was completely unapologetic. The service was downright ABYSMAL…so bad, in fact, that the poor service ruined any redeeming qualities the food might have.
We ordered the caprese salad, 2 pasta dishes, and the fish special (for 90 euros) to share between the 3 of us. However, when the waiter plated the fish dish, he only served it for 2 people in our group.
Once the bill came, we were surprised to see a service charge. Apparently, this is standard practice for some upscale restaurants. While we did get bread for the table, we never received olive oil for dipping (we asked!) and only received plates for the bread after asking several times. We also repeatedly asked for water and were finished eating our pasta course before we received any.
Diners beware! Last Google search showed over 12,000 restaurants in Rome. Hopefully you’ll choose better...
Read moreHonestly the worst experience I've ever had. Starting from the treatment of personnel towards me ending with food. The most expensive cheap food I've ever had. Awful cheap fried seafood bitter, salty, greasy. Saur not fresh sauce. Only flour, very little seafood for 26€ + compulsory payment for the bread 3€ even though I didn't eat it. The personnel was lazy to explain me the size of the dish and they didn't care to help me choose, they were clearly annoyed with my questions, and when I asked if the portion was big enough for the dinner the older waiter told me "Okay, you take this, what else?" But I didn't want to take it, I asked him about the size, he was so annoyed with my uncertainty that just pretended he didn't hear. And the he said it would be big enough for me. The portion turned out to be super small - of course not enough for the dinner. I'd never taken it if I knew how small it was. Also IT WASN'T WRITTEN THAT IT WOULD BE FRIED IN FLOUR. I HATE FRIED FLOUR. Most awful dinner and treatment ever in my life, I'm not...
