We saw Crazy Pizza on TikTok and the first thing thought caught our eye was the dough tossing show. Me and my gf are all about new experiences. So, we made it a point to go to this place. Unfortunately, we did not actually order pizza because my GF isn’t a fan and I didn’t want to eat a whole pizza alone. However, she had the asparagus salad and I had the chicken cutlet which both were good. The atmosphere (despite the hype in the video) was amazing. Very chill, jazz and soul music, you could take your family, friends or a nice little lunch date. No dress code. I do regret not getting a pizza, because they looked amazing. Also, they only do the show every son often in a day. They did it at 1400 and we came just after that but the manager still let us see a condensed version of it, being they we were from out of town. We really appreciate that. I highly recommend this place BUT again, I did NOT order a pizza so I can’t speak on that.

Divanetti marroni e sedie a righe marroni, bianche e nere.

We visited Crazy Pizza in Rome on the recommendation of our tour guide—and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that exceeded expectations. The environment is stylish and energetic, making for a truly memorable evening. The staff was incredibly attentive and professional throughout the meal, ensuring every detail was taken care of. One of the highlights was the spinning pizza dough show—exquisite and interactive, adding a fun and festive twist to the dining experience. It brought the whole restaurant to life! If you’re looking for more than just great pizza and want a vibrant atmosphere to go with it, Crazy Pizza is the place to be. Highly recommend!

My wife and dined there on October 13 on the last day of our honeymoon. I have to say, it was the worst meal I’ve ever had anywhere in the world.

As a fluent Italian speaker, I knew everything that the wait staff was saying about my wife and I throughout the entire evening. Mind you, they asked if my wife spoke Italian to which she said, “no I don’t, but I can understand it”. From that moment forward she was instantly treated differently too. When we first sat down there was a family with a child about 6 feet away. The child was yelling and crawling on the floor/booths to the point where I asked kindly to move tables. From that moment on, we were treated horribly. Our new waiter took our food order and said, “I’ll be back to get your drink order”. The entire evening passed and no one came back, let alone stopped by to even see if we wanted to order a drink. Once we finished our appetizer, it was bussed out from in front of us instantly just as we barely finished the last bite. At this point, I already wanted to leave but sadly we ordered pizza too and had to wait for it. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. This pizza was soggy, tasteless, and arrived to us after every table who ordered after us. I knew this was intentional as other tables who order appetizers and entrees after we did were almost done their meals before we got ours.

Then comes the “entertainment”. At one point, a birthday celebration broke out which looked like a lot of fun for that guest. It was nice to see them celebrating her. What wasn’t nice or fun were the other people dining there getting up and grabbing the wait staffs sparklers as if this was a club. They were taking selfies and dancing around the DJ booth as if everyone had come to see them. Finally this ended, and then a guy came out twirling pizza dough as if this was America’s Got Talent. The whole experience of this act was worse than going to Chuck-E-Cheese, equivalent to being at a 5 year olds birthday party. Lastly, the DJ. It’s cool to have ambiance and a fun atmosphere to enjoy dinner. His music was so loud and there was so much bass my wife and I couldn’t even speak to one another. Our silverware was vibrating on the table, but the wait staff didn’t care to ask if we minded how loud it was.

Finally, after asking for the check twice… I got it. Every other table was allowed to pay while seated, but I was told I had to pay at the front. I asked the hostess/manager why there was a 8€ “crazy bread charge”, to which they rudely said, “that’s the coperto… everywhere charges one”. Obviously I knew this, but at the same time… why bother putting a line item on the check that says “coperto - 0.00€” and then make it confusing by charging me for bread. WE NEVER ASKED FOR BREAD. It would have been more logical to just charge us for a coperto/cover charge than make bread a cost on the check that we never knew about.

Overall, worst meal I’ve ever had. In Rome where tourism drives so much of the city revenue, you need to treat people better. This was embarrassing and I don’t even know why anyone would ever want to eat here.

Truly a disappointing experience to end our honeymoon. We will never return and will be sure to tell our friends/family in Rome to spread the word of how terrible Crazy Pizza is as a dining...

On our family vacation to Rome, my wife looked online for some fun experiences, especially while dining - I mean come on….we’re in ITALY. In short, this was a huge let down. The second we were sat down we were advised by the waiter that we had one hour to eat. Nothing like being put on the clock to make the most of a great night (and for reference, when we left, the Resturant was easily half full). The waiter really seemed irritated with us all evening and lucky me, he handed me a card with his name on it and asked me to write him a review as we walked out so Vito, here you go. I’m not usually the review type, but since you asked so nicely…

We started with Calamari which would more accurately be described as a bowl of fried Zucchini with a few pieces of Calamari. And for the main course - pizza. I don’t blame Vito for not understanding how much a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys will eat but I assure you, it’s more than the 2 pizzas he said would be more than enough. Well Vito, it’s not enough. Their pizzas serve maybe 1 1/2 people. After we inhaled them in about 5 min, we asked for another. Vito’s face looked like we just asked him to put down his dog as he took our order for more food which is strange in a resturant. The pizza is ok, nothing fantastic. We’ve eaten pizza at the little hole in the wall restaurants every day of our trip and most of them are significantly more tasty for 1/2 the price.

Then, the primary reason we came - the dough show. Well, unlucky for us we were up against the clock so both I and the table next to us asked Vito when the shows are to which he said “we already had one, next one in 20 minutes.” Both of our tables (large families with kids) let him know that it was before we arrived and we’d like to see the show as our one hour clock was coming to an end! Vito did not seem to understand our frustration and as with all things, Vito was annoyed but took our request to someone making the call. 5 min later the dough guy comes out. Don’t get your hopes up. I’d put it on par with someone spinning a towel around the length of time it takes to sing Happy Birthday, then he’s gone and onto the next room.

Then the biggest surprise of all - the check!! Adding a 5€ fee for each person plus the high cost of food made this a wildly expensive situation. Had we known all of this beforehand, we definitely would have skipped and given the money to some hole in the wall family run resturant who has a 98 year old grandmother in the back hand making the pasta - I’d watch her all day vs the dough...

Arrived at 6:57 and they didn’t open till 7:05pm Gave a drink menu to us and went to order two things from that menu to be told we don’t have that as we are changing drinks menu- maybe just wait till you update the menu to change over lol Drinks arrived and maybe 5 mins later Salad arrived so that was great Then noticed table around us getting their food and noticed it had been over 45mins we had been waiting for a pasta and pizza. I got the waitress and she said sorry the new runner swapped the table around and gave your order to another table. I then said a round of the same drinks on the house would be great as she couldn’t tell me how long it would be. They never came but was on the bill lol. My pasta came but my partners didn’t arrive till after I finished my meal. I then went to pay and told the manager of what happened and their staff had no communication skills and he couldn’t care less, didn’t even acknowledge the complaint. I also was made to pay for crazy bread and tomato skewer thing which I never asked for and questioned when on the bill but was told it was the cover charge. If it was a cover charge it should just say cover charge. Now I’m in the service industry and understand things happen but all you need to do is tell the customers what’s going on and put a rush on it and everyone is happy! Definitely would not recommend the Rome location. Also what restaurant in Italy doesn’t have...
