This is a nice and unassuming restaurant near the termini station. I love the fact that they still use proper cloth napkins and the waiters are properly dressed. On the other hand, I was disappointed with the slightly stale bread they served. The olive oil was very good. In terms of food, the tiger jumbo shrimps sauteed in cognac sauce was above the average and the cherry tomatoes in that particular plate was among the best I tasted this winter. So kudos to them for the latter. The seafood salad with zesty citrus sauce also tasted nice. Most notably, in this plate, the squids were soft and easy to chew. Right at the entrance, they have a refrigerated and illuminated seafood display stand to choose from, and what they serve is objectively better than the basic frozen variety yet not the freshest of its kind. With that said, the prices are truly reasonable, and admittedly, the current price level would not justify the serving of daily catched fish and crustacea. Finally, I enjoyed the fact that they cut the ham by hand per order instead of serving pre-sliced cold-cut meat. With that said, I have eaten much better crudo (uncooked) ham elsewhere and I prefer much thinner slices with velvety bite that are almost semi-transparent to the eye. If you are not expecting a fine dining experience or exotic recipes, this is a good place to dine with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

Tutto era delizioso! Found this place after stopping from our touristy adventure and did not regret it. Not touristy at all - all dishes were traditional Roman dishes and nothing crazy to their dishes. We asked our server to serve us the best red wine and he did not disappoint - he brought out what i took a picture of. Loved all the serving staff and even Mr. Romeo who served us. I ended up going all Roman dishes for our last night in Rome, I ordered a Carciofi as a starter (YUM) prepared just right and then I had tripa (Tripe dish) with tomatoes sauce topped with pecorino. I've had tripe before, but not prepared this way, and that was ok with me because I enjoyed it. Filling, but delicious as it should be. My husband got the buccatini gricia and boy was that delicious! My son had the ravioli, also delicious and daughter had the spaghetti with bacon and tomato sauce. As I said in the beginning "tutto era delizioso" đŸ€Œ I'm so glad we ce to this place bc we were well taken care of by the staff. During our meal and at the end of our meal, I should mention, Mr. Romeo was kind so kind and was playful to my son. When we finished our meal, he and the other waitor offered us this homemade cream puff dessert - I almost want to say it was complimentary. But regardless, they we all super nice to us. Enjoyed every bit of our time here! Grazie mille ancora a tutti Leonetti!

Traditional Roman style menu in a simple, homey restaurant. But don’t let the simplicity fool you
the menu has a great selection and every dish was impeccable. We started with the fried calamari
perfectly seasoned and fried. Probably the best calamari I’ve had worldwide. Then came our mains
lasagna, bucatini alla gricia and risotto alla gamberi crema (prawn sauce/stock). The lasagna was great. The guancale in the Bucatini Gricia was smoky, crispy and added the perfect oomph. Finally the shrimp scampi cream risotto
. By far, THE single best item I had the entire time I was in Italy. The stock/sauce was so refined and rich. It was literally like eating risotto in lobster bisque. Amazing. If you’re looking for incredible dishes, Leonetti is a must! Guarantee it will be one of, if not the best meals, you will have in Italy.

You step inside and feel like your in an authentic Italian old world feel restaurant. Unfortunately it is anything but, the waiter seemed uninterested in servings us. I made a reservation as it was my birthday didnt expect any special treatment at all. Unfortunately as iv found with my time in rome the food just isnt that good. As a chef visiting rome and wanting to have some inspiration and taste really good Italian food I have found anything but this while in rome. Each restaurant I have tried has been well below average iv tried following high rated restaurants including this one. But have been let down every time, iv come to realise the food in rome is anything but authentic its all just tourist traps straight out of jar or microwaved with no passion no flare no love for food. Even with the recommendation the food just is no good. I thought walking by this restaurant and seeing locals eat here every day it must have some good food but my primi was bland and can tell its not homemade the pasta was so under cooked no tatse just tomato sauce out of a jar. The lamb nothing but bone and gristle the seasonal veg just over cooked spinach with no seasoning. The bread even no oil or balsamic, the desert no classic Tiramisu was told all gone at 8 30pm when most traditional Italian dine late ? They didnt even ask for my reservation name which if they had would have seen my request. I have been let down so much over this past week in rome for food that I was nervous about trying this place and had anxiety over eating here. Unfortunately with rome being such a massive tourist city the city really has lost its love for food and passion in cooking. I spent nearly 160 euros here to leave hungry and disappointed. My birthday week in rome as a chef has been nothing but a disappointment and I have nothing to take back and try perfecting as a chef. Having tried several restaurant in different districts across rome I have lost the passion to...
