Ristorante Magno Roma — Restaurant in Rome

We came to have a quick lunch. Half of the terrace was empty. Gentleman approached us and showed a specific table (cuz we were 2) to have a seat. The table was small and uncomfortable, so I asked why we must change if the rest are empty. He said that rest are "booked." Well. Okay. Once we sat, he didn't bring menu, he asked directly if we would eat or drink. I asked to bring a menu, so we will make up our mind. But he told us to stend up, go to check stand with menu first. On my question, "Why?" He said,"You know you can sit, sheck menu, didn't like and leave. " Excuse me, what? There is no queue and restaurant literally half empty! What's the rush? "Well, it's my restaurant," he said. Embarrassment! He thinks he has a Michelin star or what is this attitude and guests treatment? I've been working in Hospitality for a years in Dubai as a manager in a fine dining restaurants and I was shocked by this approach. Rude, not client oriented, definitely...

Tourists, beware. If you want good food and an awful service, this is the place. The pizza was really good, but one of the servers (which seemed to be the owner) was really rude. He got one of our orders wrong, which was understandable because neither of us speaks each other language so we used English instead. Instead of apologizing and seeing what he could do to fix the problem (a simple solution like bringing 3 slices of prosciutto), he kept justifying himself, complaining about the amount of food we ordered, blaming us for how we ordered. He would not let us finish a sentence but start talking over us. He ended with “if you want me to cook a new pizza I can do it for you but you need to pay for both”. The food was too good so I just didn’t even realised that I haven’t take photos 😂🥰 We had the best pasta and pinsa in Rome! It was that good that we decided to come back the next day, even if the first time the restaurant was in our way back home, but the second time, we took the metro and return just for food and atmosphere 🤭 I also have to mention that the location is very nice and it is perfectly positioned: not in a very crowded area but very close to a pietonal zone near Vatican. The personal was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and respected ❤️ This place remained in my mind and I will come back to Rome just to sit again at one of...
