I took my boyfriend on his first trip to Italy, as it was a life long dream of his. The first night we were super jet lagged and randomly stumbled upon this place for a quick dinner. We fell in love immediately and his Italian food dreams came true! We then ventured off to Tuscany and surrounding areas but were heading back to Rome for our last few nights as we were flying out of there. We ranked everything based off of this meal, as it was still our top, and decided to visit them again on our last night, to finish the trip off the way it started. And boy, are we ever happy we did so! The food was even better than we remembered it! It stayed our top and ended as our top restaurant! The service was also beyond amazing! Every staff member was so kind and wonderful! I am so happy we came across this place on accident and now have a favourite in Rome! I hope we can be back soon for the delicious food - please enjoy it for us if any of you reading this review go!

We found this restaurant near our hotel by searching based on reviews, and it ended up being the first meal of our trip to Italy. We weren’t expecting much, thinking it would just be the standard level of an Italian restaurant, but we were completely blown away! This place turned out to be the absolute highlight of our entire 10-day trip through Italy. Every dish we ordered was a delightful surprise—from the perfectly balanced flavors to the beautifully presented plates. Even the wine, which we picked randomly, was excellent. After several days of trying different restaurants in various cities, we can confidently say this place set the bar incredibly high. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every item on the menu impresses, but this was one of those rare gems. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to visit this restaurant—it’s a must-try! We can’t recommend it enough!

Delicious food, but subpar service. The carbonara was amazing in every way. I definitely recommend it. The server was unfriendly and did not check on the table at all. *UPDATE* I'm updating my review because the owner responded with lies. The restaurant was not full at all. Actually, there were only 3 or 4 other tables seated when we arrived. More people arrived AFTER our food was brought to the table. Anyway, the issue wasn't the time it took to prepare the meals. As stated previously, the service itself was not good. At no point did our server check on the table to see if we needed anything while we waited or after our food was served. As a matter of fact, at the end of the meal, we were not even offered coffee or dessert. Also, shame on the owner for not taking any responsibility here. A simple apology for bad service would have sufficed.

Came here for lunch after spending the morning and afternoon at the Vatican. No complaints about the food or the atmosphere, but was not blown away by our experience. It feels relatively traditional and the wait staff was kind and attentive. It also wasn't overly expensive and didn't feel like a tourist trap. There were plenty of locals eating in the restaurant. My parents ordered pizzas while I got the carbonara. My parents thought their pizza was just okay. The carbonara was pretty good but I wished it would have been hotter. I had the option to add fresh pasta that was being made by a chef in the window. It added to the experience for sure and the fresh pasta was worth the 2 extra euros.

This food was absolutely incredible, it was definitely one of the best places in Rome, it definitely rivals the places we found in Trastevere! I got the Bolognese and my girl got the pesto spaghetti, it was all so delicious and wonderful! The waiters were very nice and attending, some even understanding Spanish. Some may be worried that this is a tourist trap, but trust me, this place is not one at all. Go here, you won't regret it. My only complaint is that in real life this is located next to the Vatican wall while on Google maps this is located in the opposite side of that corner, Google needs to fix that.
