We both ordered the €15 menu, a glass of wine and a bottle of beer. After our drinks came, we didn't like the wine because it was sparkling, so we asked if it was possible to get different glass. The waitress said the wine was not sparkling, but you could clearly see the bubbles... After a sigh she took the glass and brought a new one (wich was better).. Then the food came... When serving the first dish, the waiter came with a different meal than the one we ordered. After we mentioned this he checked his notes and saw he was wrong and went inside to get the correct one. The spaghetti and lasagne weren't the best ever, but thet tasted pretty good. The second dish was almost thrown on the table without saying anything so we had to guess from a plate that had more liquid than meat what we got.. The salad we ordered as a side dish where 3 chopped up leaves of lettuce, nothing more.. When the desert came, the waiter came again with the wrong dish. The menu said fresh fruit, but he came with something that looked like 2 plates of tiramisu.. After we again mentioned it was not what we ordered he became a bit angry and said that we had the meat from the more expensive menu. I said that was not the case and even if it was, we had no clue what we got because it could have been anything and they didn't mention anything. Afterwards he came with 2 small bowls with fruit that clearly was from a can and definitely not fresh.
When we asked for the bill it took 15 minutes before we asked again, and the waiter said we could go inside and mentioned our table number (and it wasn't even that busy, plenty of empty tables) When we were inside at the counter, the woman behind it was more interested in her phone, then in us.. When we got the bill, it still had the more expensive menu on it, even though we mentioned at least twice that it was not correct..
In the time we were there, not one time a waiter came and asked if everything was OK and if we wanted anything else to drink.
So, the pasta was decent, the meat plate was more liquid than meat, the salad was something you can't call a salad and the fruit was definitely not fresh. And the staff can definitely be more friendly...
Read moreFood: we both got the €17,- for 3-course menu. First course: pasta. This was the best part of the entire menu. We both enjoyed the pasta and the quantity was more than sufficient for a first course. Second course: meat with salad (or potato). The salad was mostly chopped carrot and tomato without dressing. A mediocre balsamic vinegar and mint-olive oil was put on the table, but still not really enjoyable. The meat was well cooked but the seasoning seemed absent. Desert. On the menu it said "desert" so we expected some options because the cheaper €14,- stated "fruit salad" as desert. We received a small fruit salad which had nothing special about it, and not even strawberries or blueberries in it (only cheap fruits) For drinks we had only ordered one bottle of water, which was about 2,40 for 1L.
The service was less friendly and enthusiastic compared to other restaurants we tried. The prices were higher. The food was worse. We don't recommend going here to eat the menu. If you want to try this place, your safest bet is just pasta...
Read moreIt was a really bad experience. My sister and I sat down to eat pizza. We told them we wanted to order only one pizza because two would be too much. Someone in charge came from inside and said that this was not a fast food restaurant and that we had to place separate orders. When we said we couldn’t finish two, they said it didn’t matter and that we still had to order two pizzas, even if one went to waste. I had never encountered such a reaction in other places before. It was clear that their goal was not to satisfy the customer but just to make money.
When we explained this incident to the waiter at another place before sitting down, they were very surprised and told us that we could order...
