A last minute decided dinner spot since there’s multiple restaurants in the area - and was a mixed experience here, would have given 3.5 ⭐️ to be exact. 🥟 the ravioli or gyoza was different to what we usually have, but tasted okay though quite oily 🥦 spinach was nice, quite cleanly cooked 🥗 the beancurd with prawns and all was the highlight of the show, very well flavoured sauce that goes with the ingredients in there 🐖 the spicy pork wasn’t spicy at all, which was dismal cos we were looking for some spicy food coming here 🍲 the soup was a little too thick for us, could have been nicer if it’s less thick 🍚 fried rice was nice in my opinion, though it could have been better without the green peas 💰 affordable for 2 pax, 6 dishes and a beer for 40 Euros 💶 The service staff was professional in managing some unreasonable customers, but at the same time, they did not retain potential customers which resulted in a few leaving the restaurant after not being attended to after seated for awhile (happened to us too, until we asked for the menu and the table to be set up).

Don't believe the hype. It's just ok, and definitely geared towards convenience for tourists and train station travelers (who make up most of the reviewers here) with it's large photo menu on the sidewalk and accessible pricing. I've been living in Rome for a year and have been trying many of the Asian spots. Quality is not bad, but skip the spring rolls (it's just plain cabbage filling, no flavour), fried chicken bites (they used bread flour which is soft and chewy), sweet and sour pork, and kung pao chicken. The fried chicken wings were crispy, but lacked seasoning and fell flat too. Go for one of the meat dishes with rice.

This restaurant just saved my life. We’ve been eating nothing but pasta and pizza for the last few days and we were lucky enough to have found such a solid Chinese restaurant serving a huge variety of food with such good quality. Was expecting them to be a tiny Chinese shop hidden away but they’ve got a nice store front with outdoor seating. Not a single complaint to be had about the food and it was definitely a refreshing blast to be taken back home for a meal. We had the seafood fried rice, bok choi, tofu and the prawn and veggies on a hot plate. Also really friendly owner!

Needed some Chinese food as our family was in Rome for 3 nights and needed a change of pace from the Italian food we were consuming. Found this place on Google and it did not disappoint.

The owner was super friendly and welcomed us. We ordered a number of dishes including stir fry noodles with beef, cantonese fried rice, chicken with bamboo shoots, grilled dumplings, chicken corn soup and many more. Honestly, all the dishes were really tasty and good portions meant for sharing.

It was so good we ended up going there again for our last night in Rome. Prices were very affordable considering the amount of food we ordered. I would highly recommend for someone looking for some tasty authentic Chinese food. It's great there are options like...

Restaurant Chinese Huaweiju was a wonderful surprise in the heart of Rome. My family and I had a fantastic meal here - every dish was full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and served fresh - you got to try the Chinese spinach dish. It was exactly the kind of comforting, high-quality food we were craving. And yes, they have vegan options too, the tofu dishes were perfect!

What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. The staff were absolutely lovely - warm, patient, and genuinely welcoming. There was such a calm and friendly energy in the restaurant, and we felt so well looked after from start to finish.

If you are in Rome and looking for delicious Chinese cuisine served with kindness and care, this is the place. A genuine gem...
