First impression was the location is great and they have "americanized" options which make it attractive.
Atmosphere: Good location and nice tables, but there were people smoking in the patio which made it unpleasant.
Service: it took about 10 minutes for anyone to notice we didn't have menus nor did we have water after they had seated us on the patio. After that it was difficult to get service. It seemed they don't assign a waiter to tables, but rather you just hope one passes by wants to take your order or get the check. We had to wave someone down just to put in our order, get a to-go box, and finally the check.
Food: We ordered three pastas, a spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, and pasta with tomato and basil. The tomato sauce was very good, however the meatballs were bland and overcooked, and the chicken in the alfredo tasted like it was boiled or microwaved and had no seasoning.
Payment: Be prepared to pay with cash or a physical Visa card. They don't take contactless payment (which I had a Visa card on) or AMEX. Fortunately I had enough euros on me to pay the bill. I wasn't informed of this until the time of payment, of course.
Overall: There are better options in the area. This restaurant definitely plays into its convenient location but then fails on service and taste once they...
Read moreAll 6 of us had one of our best dining experiences not just in Italy but anywhere, thanks to our amazing server, Angelo, and the delicious food. It's a short walk from the Colloseum or the Roman Forum, and situated right next to a bunch of cute streets that are worth walking down just for the unique small Italian feel. The restaurant has 2 locations and we were in line at the other one in the middle of the streets when Angelo came up to us and said he had more space at the other one. As the only vegan in our party, there were less options for me. I got the Aglio Olio and the grilled vegetables. Both were delicious. Angelo was very conscientious about making sure I knew what my options were. He even went next door to the gelato place to get me fruit gelati since they didn't have any vegan dessert options besides fruit (although that might be a normal thing since he mentioned they have a partnership with them). Every person in our group was happy with what they got, which included pistachio crusted ravioli, octopus, mussels, chicken and fries, calzone, cacio e pepe, bruschetta, tiramisu, cannoli, and maybe some other things I'm forgetting. The Aperol spritzer and fresh mint lemonade were great too. Angelo also gave us a ton of laughs. It was an amazing time and we felt like part...

Upon receiving our appetizers, it was evident that the chef had a true passion for their craft. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me eager to try our main courses. When our entrees arrived, I was not disappointed. The presentation was exquisite, and the taste was simply divine.
