Pranzo discreto ma niente di ché, A Roma abbiamo mangiato in posti seppur molto semplici, come questo, ma con una qualità di piatti ben diversa. Tra l'altro abbiamo preso una bottiglia di vino Chianti (ma il proprietario ci ha detto che le bottiglie da 750cl. erano finite così ci ha portato due bottiglie piccole da 500cl. Dopo averle aperte ed aver assaggiato una di queste, il vino era freddo (ma un Chianti non si bene freddo!!!) e troppo "forte". Non era buono, così ho fatto presente al proprietario il problema, il quale ne ha portata indietro una (quella piena che però non avendola neanche assaggiata non sappiamo come fosse), lasciandoci invece l'altra (quella cattiva). A quel punto abbiamo pensato: "non ce la farà pagare" visto che un'altra in sostituzione diceva di non averla, invece alla fine, nel conto, l'ha messa. Io essendo lì con amici, tra l'altro stranieri, non ho voluto per qualche euro fare discussioni, però questa recensione ci sta tutta, perché quelli che si approfittano ancora degli stranieri per cercare di fregarli, non si meritano di passarla liscia. In tanti anni che sono stato a Roma ho quasi sempre mangiato e bevuto bene, purtroppo oggi, giorno di ferragosto, tutti i locali che conosco erano chiusi, così sono andato alla cieca ma non è andata bene. Peccato!!!

If your looking for a home cooked style meal, then this is the place. It sid not seem to be a touristy place as all the patrons were locals. I always say, if locals are eating their it must be good. The food was food, with simple presentation. Thr service was prompt and the pricing was really good. Not far from the Vatican so leave the crowds and try out this local style restruant.

At the first glance the place is unremarkable but dishes are very tasty and the waiter is pleasant. The price is attractive, mainly there are local visitors. We had pizza prosciutto fungi, mussels and wine (0,375). Total bill was 28 euro. So good value for this money. At the end we got free stemwares of digestif.

We were staying locally on our trip to Rome, and came across this wee place. Massimo was so welcoming. The ristoranti was buzzing & it seemed to be full of Italian locals as Massimo and the other staff were chatting & laughing with each table. Service was great & Massimo was very attentive to us. We had great bruschetta for starters. My daughter had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, oil & wine which was delicious. I had calzone pizza with perfect thin and crunchy crust & filling. GREAT dining experience!!! The food was EXCELLENT. The foccia bread that was brought out was the best we've had in 3 weeks touring Italy.The Carbonara was also the best we have found at more than half the price. We had a group of 4. Everyone loved all their pasta & pizza. We were all so IMPRESSED, we would have gone back the next night to try everything on the menu but they were going to be closed & it was our last night in Rome. Mr. Max was so kind, warm, & welcoming to us. He rightfully beemed with pride about his gem of a business. He truly makes you feel "at home". Thanks...

While my husband and I were in Rome, we did a lot of walking. We saw (heard) locals going into Ristorante Pizzeria, so we decided to try it. The gentleman who sat us was very friendly and had a big smile. The brushetta (oil and tomato) were delicious! The pizza and pomadora (🍅) pasta were very authentic.
