Got here on day 1(disclaimer; during covid pandemic so there's a change in how busy it is and other stuff that could change from the 'normal' situation etc) very kind personell helping you choose what food you'd like if you ask. We came here for 2 days straight (would be more if we found this place sooner) and fell in love with the dishes. Original/classic italian quisine, normally i'd take a bite at a restaurant, taste it and go "i could make this myself at home" but here, nope, amazing tastes, sauces that make your mouth/senses go wildly happy and very kind personell, with a personal approach(they remembered us on the 2nd day). Food came in super fast(but not suspiciously too fast if you get my drift). And was delicious. To most of the people 1 starring this because of the bread thing; You went to Italy, probably on a holiday, and never bothered to check restaurant etiquette here? Come on man/girl! The bread on the table is a thing here! Same as service charge and obligatory appetisers, you dont want the bread:you leave it and it wont appear on the bill. Your food was so good you need some bread to sponge the sauce of your plate? Well that means it was worth it. 5/5 VERY good!!!

**Buona Forchetta Pizza Review:** Buona Forchetta is well-known for its authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza, which draws in pizza lovers looking for an authentic Italian experience. The crust is perfectly thin and slightly chewy with a delightful char from the wood-fired oven, giving each bite that signature smoky flavor. The balance of toppings is impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients like mozzarella, basil, prosciutto, and vibrant tomato sauce. Their Margherita pizza is a fan favorite, a simple yet flavorful combination that highlights the freshness of their ingredients. For those who like more adventurous toppings, Buona Forchetta also offers a variety of pizzas with gourmet twists, such as truffle oil or spicy salami. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and lively, often bustling with diners, which adds to the charm of the dining experience. Service is friendly and prompt, making it a perfect spot for a casual night out or a special occasion. Whether you're a pizza purist or like to experiment with flavors, Buona Forchetta is a must-visit for a top-tier pizza experience.

A very affordable place with amazing food. The pizza s were huge and if you are not a heavy eater, one is enough for two. We had to bring our home as we had ordered one per person. They are open quite late and the servers were really friendly and helpful. There was a little miscommunication on our second day regarding how many dishes we were ordering, but it was resolved fast. First day we had ordered two kinds of pizza (about 7 euro each) and 6 suppli (1 euro each). the suppli was huge and hot and everyone loved it. The pizza was thin crust and wood fired with a great smokey taste. Next day we ordered various kinds of pasta ( I ordered the tortellini that was creamy and quite filling). We had three tiramisu which we shared between 6 of us as we were very full by then. The desserts were also very good. On the first day they didn't take any cover charge, and on the second night they did. But when we pointed that we didn't take any bread (we pointedly returned the bread basket when offered), the owner removed the charges. Highly recommend this place if you are nearby.

Unbelievable find! Recommended by a savvy taxi driver during an unrelated visit to the area, this place exceeded expectations. Impressive variety and prices on the menu, with excellent Google reviews to back it up. Busy and lively, it's best enjoyed in the evening with its energetic staff.

Now, let's talk pizza. Wow! Thin crust and bursting with flavours, the Diavolo, Calabrese Calzone, and Funghi were all perfect. However, the real surprise was the Potato and Sausage Bianca which I did not expect to come out as great as it was. For pasta, I would recommend the Bolognese. Simple and so tasty. The Suppli and Potato Croquettes were a lovely side option.

Pair those amazing pizzas with cold Birra Moretti or a tasty Bellini, and you're in for a treat. The only downside was the slightly slow bill service, but if time isn't an issue, it's a must-visit. Pro tip: Head inside to wait for your bill if you're in a rush.

As a helpful suggestion for the business, misting fans and background music would enhance the experience and keep customers lingering, leading to more enjoyment and spending. As a helpful suggestion to customers, you might notice the exact same menu at their other restaurant, 'Ristorante Pizzeria Al Cupolone' nearby, which might be air-conditioned, doesn't have much of an atmosphere and comes with a slight price hike.

Overall, this place is a winner – delicious food, energetic ambiance, and worth a visit....

First off, Buona Forchetta is an amazing restaurant!! My girlfriend and I we're on holiday in Rome for 6 days, on our first day we discovered this wonderful place. We were looking at the menu outside which is in Italian and english at about 5:15pm like a typical amarican tourist, not yet knowing Italian/Roman dinner time is more like 7 or 8. Anyway, we were greated by a very friendly staff member who explained some of the dishes and different sections of the menu to us. We thought it sounded good so we got a lovely table for two outside in an open yet shaded area. We both ordered pizza, they informed us that the wood fired pizza oven needed about an hour to hear up since they had just opened, we we're in no rush so we waited. They bring bread the table so we munched on that in the mean time. When the pizza came we were very glad we waited, the pizza was delicious!! We we're in Rome for another 6 days and ate dinner here 4 times! They had the best service of all of the restaurants we went too while in Rome. We did go to about 5 others including for lunch. By the end of the week the staff at Buona Forchetta made us feel like family and we hope we can return for a visit one day! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes great food and even better service! Oh also, most of the staff seems to have pretty good English so don't be shy if you are a tourist like us who doesn't know...

2 stars only because the food was relatively good value for money, but the service was horrible.

We were practically ignored for the hour we were there, we didn't order much, only a single dish each with my partner, but the food was delivered to the table with around 15min difference between the dishes, so my partner started eating after I have finished my meal. We had to ask for the bill around 3-4 times for about 20min and wait around another 10min for them to collect the money. We do appreciate they were quite busy then, but they had like 4-5 waiters waiting around 40-60 people at their tables. We also had to refuse the plain bread they give out at a lot of restaurants (including this one) 3 times and it was still included in the bill!!! It's perhaps a good source of income for them really, 3 euros for a couple of slices of bread. Everything would be acceptable, but the waiter (blond middle aged man) that took our order and brought the bill showed a really bad and annoyed attitude towards us, with an obvious frown and answering to each of our statement or question with visible anger, and we're the people who really like to avoid confrontational situations as much as humanly possible, so we definitely didn't have an attitude! Perhaps not everyone will have such a bad experience there, but in case you do - there are plenty other decent restaurants on...
