The worst service ever. Turned up and my wife and 2 kids sat outside. There were 3 customers inside. An old lady who clearly do could not make a decision spent 10 minutes being served. Two young/teenagersm A non Italian lady joined the shop and left her baby outside in a pushchair. Then in walked in 2 Italian ladies who walked up to the counter and were served just as the old Italian lady was finishing for 2 bottles og water. They looked around and clearly knew they had pushed in. Staff member did nothing. The women were told in English they had pushed in. Staff member did nothing again. I walked out and threw my ticket in the bin. As did lady with pushchair. Not sure how your business works but 4+ ice-cream is worth more than 2 bottles of water. Unless this Mussolini economics or racism or...
Read moreActually the ice cream was of very good quality and really tasty. But I give the lowest rate anyway. Why? Because of the employee. You can take minimum 2 scoops for 3 euro, 3 for 4 euro or 4 scoops for 4.5 euro. Price is for Rome OK. Me any my girlfriend wanted to have 8 scoops (9 euro), but in her cone 3, in my 5 scoops. The employee said it wasn't possible. Not cool at all, but okay, then we took 3 + 4 scoops for 8.5 euro. After that I wanted to have one more scoop and even wanted to pay the full price for it, she said it wasn't possible to take only 1 scoop, but 2 is minimum!? As if we didn't just ate 7 scoops!? I mean really... after that, I turned away and would't go there any more no matter how good the ice cream was, even if they gave it away for free!! Real...
Read moreOk I am willing to admit when one of my favorite gelaterias has met their match, and this is the match. The creamiest gelato I have found in Rome and I've been to many. It lacks the old-world charm of 100-year old gelaterias in central Rome, and it looks very corporate chain like, but the proof is in the tasting. Fresh ingredients, dense flavours, and real fruit compotes and sauces added to top things off. I had their signature Cremosa Rivareno (white chocolate and hazelnut) with Morena (black cherry) which were flavour explosions and very rich. Give it a try. It's basically old world flavour wrapped in new...
