As an Erasmus student was the worst university I have been and I had a really bad experience (in the field of social communication). I don't understand how is it possible that they accept any student without asking for a certificate of Language (Italian) and not providing any English courses (they provide a small online Italian course, but that is not enough to realize exams and understand completely the classes), so all classes are in Italian and all content available is in Italian. The Italian students are difficult to interact with, since most of them don't know how to speak in English. We had classes that would last 6 hours in a row due to the difficult logistics of so many students (I believe). In some classes I had to sit on the floor and use my computer on the floor because there was no space to sit since we were way to many students for the amount of space. Other times we had to do online classes as well because os problems of space in the classrooms. One time a piece of the roof fell in the middle of the class. I also had some troubles with a project group and I felt professors were really unavailable to provide any help for it. I had a really bad experience, and I believe the university should ask for a Certificate of Language or provide English courses, because it is impossible to actually learn something as an Erasmus student. Although they are the biggest university of Europe doesn't mean they have any quality, size does not measure the...
Read moreVery Rude staff. It was big mistake and waste of time and money here. For the first semester they made me wait for 6 monthes to finish enrollment and when I asked them why they told me they couldn't find my documents because it was in another deppartment and if i have any problem I can go back to my country!I can not mention the name otherwise google will delete my review. It was a old lady respomsible for Telecomunication engineer. I have never seen them to be on-time to start lessons or exames. They barly can speak english. They change the hours and dates for exames and lessons like the students are their slaves. They only yell at you and use offensive words if you ask for your rights. They told me a couple of times in lessons and in segretery office to go back to my country only beacuse I asked for my basic rights to be on-time and do exames and lessons in schedule time.It was a shame to act like that in an international university. This university is...
Read moreI am taken aback by the support I’ve been receiving from Sapienza University, especially from 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥’𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚.
Every time they reply, it feels like a real person sat down, carefully read my email, understood my situation, put a generous amount of time into it... and then manually typed out every single word of the answer that is 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥. And that’s just mind-blowing to me. It’s very rare to find this kind of email correspondence and assistance — especially since I’m not even an enrolled student yet.
The fact that they provide such a high level of assistance even to students in a position like mine is remarkable. This is the most 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 I’ve ever encountered in my life. Many thanks for your human help! 🫶
Looking forward to studying at Sapienza...
