This is my new #1 For those who understand chocolate, walking in and smelling... experiencing it. Been around the world and there is nothing like it. One of the prior reviews scoffed at their chocolate. The moment the owner started with dark over milk, I knew this was nirvana.
You see, shops like Lindt often cheat by adding extra sugar. SAID offers a purer, more refined product that melts perfectly in your mouth and leaves no bitter after taste. Further, it is an absolute experience.
Most chocolate shops at this quality are dry, clinical, out of touch, with glasses cases and expensive per piece prices.
SAID, being near a college adopts a different approach, with a full hot chocolate bar (alcohol included) during the winter. The closest experience might be to mix a old London candy store with the shelves / oddities with the finest chocolate Cafe.

Read moreAdorable store and cozy environment. Chocolate is good but not extraordinary - hence overpriced. Had two bad experiences. First one when I ordered a hot chocolate and while all the other people had their orders, I waited 30 minutes, asked the waiter 3 times where my order was and never received. When we told the person receiving the payments that he had made a mistake, he hesitated a lot when giving us the money back saying that he was only doing that because he trusted us but right afterwards threatening the birthday person to call him to have the money back in case he made the calculations and realized that we had lied to him. Very rude and...
Read moreLocation/Atmosphere: in San Lorenzo area. Just 2 minutes away from Termini central station. Super beautiful place. Lights, vintage style, cozy. The location/atmosphere is probably one of the few positive aspects of this place.
Food/Drink: desserts are good, but too expensive. Hot chocolates are good, but same story.
Staff: they always bring you the drinks menu, and not the chocolates one which, considering it's a chocolate place, should be the main one to bring. They also bring you just one menu, when people at the table are more than 1. Staff is nice, but not prepared about the menu.
Particular features: n/a.
On a bad note: they get confused when bringing the menu. The desserts are too expensive. Staff is not well prepared.
Suggestions to the restaurant: lower the prices and train...
