Sora Lucia — Restaurant in Rome

Ambiance: modern and cozy. We had a lot of issues with sound. We couldn’t really talk to our entire table and had some issues hearing the waiter as well.

Food: some REALLY liked their dishes, others were just OK. I would recommend the lasagna, cacio and pepe (very rich), and the seafood pasta. I ordered the vegetable soup on other reviewers recommendations and found it lackluster. However, my dad ordered the bean and noodle soup and it was quite tasty! The dishes are a moderate serving size. If you are very hungry, consider ordering a soup as a starter. Other reviewers mentioned the bread, ours was hard and crusty and not particularly good. It should be noted we went at the end of the night which maybe contributed to that.

Wine: definitely a great deal for wine! I ordered a glass of house red and it was very good and a VERY generous serving size.

Service: service is also OK. They do Speak good English which is helpful. However you will pretty much only see your server at ordering, delivery of food, and the bill. Any extras you need like more water, olive oil, etc you will have to flag someone down.

Overall, there are much better places in the area to go but this isn’t necessarily a bad choice, just not an...

The restaurant is fine, clean. The owner was kind and the waiting time for service ok. We ordered some pasta and some starters. “Cicoria”: there was something smelling/tasting strange like burned wax, not the expected quality you aim in Rome. Artichoke “Giudea” was very hard to eat, overcooked and not well dried. “Fiori di zucca” probably the best starter, but also not well dried. Pasta was fine, very abundant, and taste acceptable. Talking about the place, I confirm the restaurant looks without a style, very cold atmosphere, and not with the usual friendly/social approach you experience in this part of Italy. The price finally very high compare to the quality of food. All in all it served our need to eat something fast before visiting the marvelous “Fontana di Trevi” but probably I will not visit again. 8시반인데 다른 평좋은 식당들은 다 만석인데 여기만 자리가텅텅비었더라구요 역시나 이유가 있었습니다 평중에 봉골레에서 머리카락이 나왔다 집에가서 확인해보니 7유로가 더나왔더라 이런평들이 있는데도 다른데 기다리기 힘들고 평점 믿고 들어갔습니다 저는 스파게티만 먹을려고 했던거라서 스파게티있는페이지만 보고 봉골레만 시켰는데 어쩌구 봉골레그러길래 예스하고 받았습니다 그러니까 스파게티가없는겁니다 그래서 다른직원을 불러서 이게 같은메뉴가 맞냐고하니까 메뉴 가리키면서 이건스파게티다 그러길래 아내가 시킨게 스파게티가 맞구나하고 찜찜한채로 먹고 다른 스파게티를 하나더시켰습니다 그런데 계산서를보고나니 1유로 더비싼 봉골레스프를 가져온거더라구요 계산할때 항의하니까 자기가 영어인지 이태어인지 모르겠지만 이메뉴 맞냐고하지않았냐면서 다른거였으면 다시달라고 하지 그랬냐는겁니다 저는 분명 파스타 페이지만보고 있었습니다 아마 이런식으로 봉골레스프 내놓고 다른메뉴 시키게하는걸 상습적으로 노리는거 아닌가 싶기도 합니다 그리고 저는 분명다른직원에게 스파게티맞냐고물어봤는데 노라는 말없이 메뉴가르키면서 이건스파게티다라는 말만했거든요 결국 직원의실수로 저는 쓸데없이 메뉴를 두개나시켰고 봉골레도 일유로더내고 나왔네요 물론 봉골레에서 흙도 나왔습니다 이건 그냥 참고 먹었네요 한국에서도 그럴수 있는거라서 평에 안좋은 말이달리는데에는 다이유가 있고 다른식당 줄서는시간인데 홀로 텅텅비는데에는 다 이유가 있습니다 기왕 여행오신거 줄서서 맛집가세요. It has lot of bad reviews like hair in bolgole and someone saying he checked the bill in the hotel and he recognized that it has 7 euros except his order. I visited here at 8:30. I finded good place to eat but other place which has high score was full. So I only trusted its score and visited here despite its bad review. Bad review was its reason. I was only interested in spagetti so I saw only paste page in manu. And I ordered bolgole. He checked manu in a way he said blabla bolgole with not being good english pronounciation. I understanded just bolgole naturally. So said yes. But the manu I take was soup of bolgole. In that time I didnt know there is soup of bolgole in this place. So I asked other woman employer that Is this manu is spagetti?showing the manu but she said it is spagetti pointing the manu. Maybe she wanted to say it is spagetti in the manu.it is different to soup you eat but she didnt say no or it is different so I ordered other manu. After I ate I got bill. It was overcharged than I expected. And I reviewed the manu. I finded there is soup. But when I ordered I only saw pasta page. Then I complaint it but waiter said that I said soup of bolgole. But his pronounciation is hard to understand and I only saw pasta manu page. Maybe he deceive visitor that way usually. Don't go her. There is reason why other resturant is full but here is not.
