Canadians/Americans might recognize this as a Poke restaurant. The only omission is the sushi rice in favour of basmati, but I recommend the black rice regardless. The main source of seasoning is the marinade for some of the meats which is full of flavour, however the other elements could stand a little more of their own. Incredible service. Seamless ordering and delivery by multiple employees. Great timing and extremely friendly and responsive to specific requests. Excellent English is spoken here and the servers are happy to explain their menu and options in detail. Only cons: bathroom is very dimly lit and vent window is open to the street filter water is not free! This is normal in Rome but it is extremely taboo in Toronto where it's illegal not to serve free tap water if you are able. An absolute gem hidden in Rome! If you need a break from all of the pasta and pizza (can’t believe I even got to that point) and are craving fresh, organic food- this is the place.

The menu is completely in Italian but the lovely staff is happy to explain what it says. In a nutshell, you create your own bowl choosing a base and protein to accompany a medley of cooked vegetables.

I got the black rice with shrimp and salmon and asked for hummus on the side to share with my husband.
