Xiangzi 宽窄巷子川菜 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Rome

Never again. I try to find the name of this restaurant, and the person who was serving us was not giving us accurate information because I wanted to leave a review. I am pretty sure this is the place. We ordered sweet-and-sour chicken that came in a shallow bowl for €14. 😳. The lo mein had mostly lo mein, and not much vegetable or chicken in it. I ordered the beef and the oyster sauce and it was very tough. I was very upset and I complained and I was ignored until I said I cannot pay for this. So he discounted to 30 Euros with No drinks no water. I would not recommend this place. 2 people 3 entrées and we still were hungry. No rice or sides included. All plates have chips on them. The menus are dirty and I should’ve been a clue to walk out. He said it was new owners, but they need to make a lot of improvement code. The place looks old, dirty, and raunchy. These guys are dodgy while doing their business. They would charge each customer 1 euro extra but without indicating it in the menu. When I challenged the fee, the guy quickly backed off by waiving that extra charge, although I chose to pay for the good will. The other weird thing is that even though they posted credit cards would be accepted, only cash was accepted on site. Are they avoiding tax? This is an EU country, I just can't make myself believe there's room for possible business fraud serious enough to trigger investigation. Anyone who lives here is keen to report to the corresponding Italian authorities...

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was a rainy day, and my girlfriend suddenly felt unwell, so she sat down on an empty chair outside. There was no one else sitting outside at the time. Shortly after, an employee came out and asked if we wanted to order something. We politely said no, as we just needed a moment for her to recover. However, the employee immediately told us to leave, showing no empathy or understanding for my girlfriend’s condition.
