We came to lunch today to have sushi as a group of three. Two of our group were very hungry and wanted all you can eat while one of us wanted to order something small from the al carta menu. We were told that this was not possible by the waiter and he implied that we would try to cheat the system in place by giving items from the all you can eat to our friend. I have eaten at Banzai in the past and never had this problem at dinner service. I decided to ask the manager if we could make an exception to which he at first agreed. We are a trustworthy group and every effort to make compromise (having separate checks and moving our tables apart) was met with stubbornness and inflexibility by the waiter and later the manager who decided to change his mind after speaking with the waiter. We realized we would get nowhere with compromise and simply agreed to all eat "all you can eat". After this, our service was extremely slow (we had to signal the waiter every time we ordered) and the sushi was about average (you would have to eat a lot to get your 22€ per person worth of all you can eat). My friend ended up eating just 6 rolls and I offered to pay their share because of the inconvenience. When it came time to pay I went in and spoke to the manager who became frustrated when I complained about these things and took the 70€ we had already placed on the counter saying this would be ok for our 73.50€ bill. He processed the sale and walked away visibly frustrated while we remained calm and reasonable the entire time. Our server seemed a bit distracted and not too engaged, and we weren’t able to sit in the area near the street since it was reserved for aperitivo orders. She also forgot our order a couple of times, which was a little disappointing.
We opted for the ‘all-you-can-eat - classic’ menu to try a variety of dishes. While we were hoping for a good selection of sushi, some items didn’t quite meet the mark for us. A few of the fish pieces didn’t seem as fresh as expected, the avocado was a bit firmer than it should have been, and the tempura shrimp wasn’t as light and crispy as we had hoped. The burger buns were a creative idea, but the cheese didn’t really complement the flavors as well as it could have.
That said, there were positives. One of the other waiters, who wasn’t in charge of our table, was very attentive and regularly cleared our plates, which we appreciated. And the teriyaki salmon was quite enjoyable.
Overall, I hope this was just a one-off experience, and that we simply came on a day when the kitchen and staff were having...

All'arrivo veniamo squadrate dalla testa ai piedi dalla proprietaria francesca che ci dice di attendere per metterci a sedere, nonostante il locale fosse mezzo vuoto, ora capisco il perché.... Dopo circa mezz'ora si ricordano della nostra esistenza nonostante noi sollecitassimo per sedere e proprio quando stavamo per andarcene ci fanno accomodare, nessuno si è scusato per l'attesa ma noi ancora volevamo prendere questo aperitivo nonostante la noncuranza e maleducazione del personale. Ci sediamo e dopo un altra lunghissima attesa finalmente ci fanno ordinare... Da qui la situazione è solo che peggiorata, alcolici scadenti, bicchieri sporchi, ambiente maleodorante, personale poco professionale, ma soprattutto la proprietaria, acida e scorbutica a ogni minima richiesta per cui in qualsiasi altro locale avremmo ricevuto scuse immediate... Le mosche ci hanno tormentato continuamente, abbiamo trovato capelli nel sushi e alla richiesta che ci venisse cambiato il piatto, assolutamente non toccato, la proprietaria infastidita ci ha detto che avrebbe risolto il problema e dopo aver voltato l'angolo, senza preoccuparsi nemmeno che noi non la vedessimo ha tolto con le mani (senza guanti) il capello dal piatto per poi restituircelo, noi le abbiamo riferito il fatto che l'avessimo vista e lei, senza neanche un minimo di imbarazzo ci ha detto di accontentarci e tenere il piatto perché lei era impegnata... Cura del cliente 0, è stata un esperienza agghiacciante, purtroppo non posso fare molto oltre mettere questa recensione negativa e invitarvi a non frequentare questo locale per evitare di essere trattati con superficialità e scarsissima igiene... Non abbiamo toccato nulla dai piatti, abbiamo pagato il conto, troppo salato per l'ambiente e la qualità dei drink e del cibo intoccabile e siamo andate via. Locale per me da chiudere... Per fortuna non abbiamo deciso di cenare sennò immagino solo il disgusto che avrei provato. Io sicuramente non ci metterò più piede, e invito la proprietaria a essere un minimo più gentile con i clienti dato che le danno da vivere perciò non c'è motivo di trattarli con sufficienza e...
