We came for a quick cocktail and some water while we enjoyed our walk around Salerno. The staff was curt with us, and one of our water glasses was cracked at the bottom. The women's bathroom smelled old old urine, despite it being early dinner hours and it being apparent that it had not been used much at all before I got to it. The cocktails we got were overpriced for the area, and the free chips+ crunchies we were given were very oily and slightly burnt. I believe they were made in-house. Review exclusively related to the drinks. Choice isn't huge, but most of the classics are there as well as some nice variations on the default. Prices are high but I guess this is to be expected given the location.

Update September 2023. Drink selection seems significantly expanded now, with some interesting variations on some classic drinks and some original offerings which surprise without disappointing. Preparation is also well curated (e.g. large blocks of ice instead of multiple pieces). Prices...

Io e i miei amici ci siamo stati di recente per un aperitivo e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Il locale è molto curato e accogliente, con un'atmosfera elegante e raffinata. Il personale è gentile e preparato, pronto a consigliarvi il drink o il piatto giusto in base ai vostri gusti.

L'aperitivo era davvero gustoso. Abbiamo scelto l'aperitivo tra tante tapas salate, tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Abbiamo preso un Hugo e un Aperol Spritz, entrambi preparati con grande maestria.

Visto che l'aperitivo era così buono, abbiamo deciso di rimanere anche per cena. Il menu propone una varietà di piatti della cucina mediterranea, con un'attenzione particolare ai prodotti locali. Abbiamo preso un crudo di pesce, due primi piatti e due secondi piatti.

Ogni piatto era davvero squisito. Si sente che la cucina dell'Emanuel Cafè è frutto di passione, esperienza e di una grande attenzione alla qualità delle materie prime. La cottura era perfetta, i sapori erano ben bilanciati e la presentazione era curata nei minimi dettagli.

Anche la carta dei vini è ben fornita, con una selezione di etichette campane e nazionali che sapranno accompagnare al meglio il vostro pasto.
