I dined at this restaurant on a quiet evening (I couldn't find a free table at the weekend). The whole experience was a pleasant one. The interior is tastefully appointed, discreet music was playing in the background, the tablecloths shone with cleanliness, the restroom was spotless. The patron, friendly and giving many details about how the food is cooked, took the order himself. The waiters were very friendly. One of the waitresses gave me further details about the food and even advised me which dish to opt for. This whole picture surrounds the dinner itself, the dishes particularly tasty, full of flavors, exquisite, underlined by good wines, so that it all lingers in your memory for a long time. When a restaurant is highly rated on Google and recommended by many people, I am initially reluctant, as it is easy to be disappointed. This was not the case with Cicirinelle. Add the decent prices to this feast and you have all the arguments not to miss this restaurant, if you end...

We have visited Salerno many times and always come back to Cicirenella because of the great friendly service, delicious food, beautiful house wine and very friendly service at reasonable prices too. The other evening we had the delicious antipasto to share. It included 4 lovely tasters which ard mot the usual cured meat and cheese but are uniquely homemade and vary daily. Then the incredible sea bream in potato crust that my husband has had many times and dreams of! I had a cream of broccoli risotto which was lovely and a welcome change, as a vegetarian from pasta. They also have a delicious olive spread with fresh bread that helps to curb your appetite when you arrive. Very clean bathroom( not always a given in Italy). You can see the chefs cooking your food! We love this restaurant and intend to return again as soon as possible. Well done guys and thanks for...

Easily the best meal and wine we've had in 3+ weeks of travelling Italy and eating out nearly every meal.

We hadn't made a reservation but they still accommodated us.

The starters were amazing and the steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it, nice and rare. My girlfriend ordered pasta and clams and a beautiful fish fillet as a second course. She's been eating clams and mussels dishes almost nonstop on our trip and she was delighted with them.

The waiter spoke excellent English and described the dishes very well, he was also very kind to us and brought us a lovely handmade chocolate desert and two shots (I think it was limoncello and sambuca) which were quite refreshing.

This restraunt deserves 10 stars but I can only...

We made a last minute decision to come here, based on other reviews, and so happy we did. No booking, so didn’t get to sit outside (make a booking if you want guaranteed outside spot). Had the penne pasta, the pumpkin risotto special, and steak to share. One of the best meals so far in Italy. We had the house Cicirinella red wine with it and it was really good, got a few bottles to take on our travels with us. Forgot to get a photo of the steak, but it was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place, great food, great service and very reasonably priced.

The restaurant was OK in general. The personal was very nice, though if you do not speak Italian you will face some difficulties. I ordered all 3 courses. The starter was OK, but significantly overpriced. Definitely does not worth paying 8 euros for it. Then I had pasta, which was good, but nothing extraordinary. Finally I got my smoked cheese, and I pretty liked it. In general, all portions were incredibly small. So you might remain hungry. Also, when the owner said said "you don't like it, you don't pay", means he was pretty confident about the service.
