The BEST lunch I've had in Italy yet. The hostess just gave us suggestions and we received the most beautiful spread of meat and cheese and bruschetta, with glasses of wines. The chef had made his own lunch at the time and just served us some right from the pan. This is so far my favorite experience, just having found this random tiny deli. It's a hot afternoon but this place has shade and a good breeze. I'd recommend this place to any friend, or stranger, anywhere. Thank you for this wonderful experience 😍🥰

Edit: after my 2 year old woke up from siesta, they were kind enough to provide her with a delicious platter of bread, honey, butter, a pear, and homemade peach mix, and a little cup of homemade yogurt. This was the first full meal she has eaten in...

The owner and his son are 2 of the most welcoming and passionate men we have met. They were so friendly and knew exactly what they were talking about when discussing their local wines. We had 3 huge glasses of wine each and freshly made bruschetta as well as the biggest cheese and ham board I've ever seen! They even managed to cater for my partner, who is a celiac. Everything was delicious, and worth way more than we paid for them. We left super full and slightly tipsy after alot of laughter with 2 amazing bottles of wine for the road... And lets not forget how good their home made limoncello is! We will definitely be back and can not recommend this...

We went to Solerno 2 years ago. We came across this shop and went in to grab a bottle of wine for the road. The owner Ciro was the only one working. His English was better than my Italian, and we started talking wines. He was so sweet and generous to my wife and kids. We exchanged pleasantries as he kept offering us all of the delicious breads and peppers he had prepared. To this day, we think of this slight moment in time as one of best experiences in Italy, because of the hospitality of Ciro. My kids and wife adored him. We had a fantastic pack of food and wine for the road. We plan on going straight back when we are able to visit...

we came here for lunch on a rainy afternoon in salerno. there isnt a menu but the gentlemen who runs the place is very kind and told us he can make us a meat & cheese board, mozzarella plate and some bruschetta. we had this with a glass of white wine each. it came to 72 euros which was quite a surprise as it was very expensive considering it was more of a tapas serving and not very filling for a proper lunch. the interior is really nice and the staff were lovely but i would say it was quite overpriced for such a small meal.

This place was exactly what we searched for! Tasty simple antipasti food and good wine. We met some local people there, chitchatted with the owner, and enjoyed the evening very much. Prices are a bit higher than what you would expect, but with only 4 tables and freshly prepared and cut meat and tomatoes, it was absolutely worth it! Special thing for me were the cherry tomatoes from the Vesuvio mountain. :)
