Came here for a breakfast cappuccino and croissant as part of a voucher we received from our airbnb. The server sat us- it's a gorgeous venue. Came over a couple minutes later and just stood next to us looking at his ordering device. Then got mad at us that we weren't ordering. He said nothing to us, didn't look at us, and then got frustrated..? "Tell me!" he barked at us. We had no menus. No one had said anything to us... but we were expected to magically know what we wanted.
He delivered our cappuccinos, then when we went to order food after finding a QR code, he then told us the kitchen was closed. At 11am lol. Which is fine, but like... he was rude about everything and our 2 questions we had were an annoyance.
I need to qualify all of this with: we are not inexperienced travelers, nor are we rude or arrogant or self righteous. I work in service. We've had really lovely interactions everywhere in Salerno. I promise you we were not acting like clueless or rude tourists. We would have considered dining here for other meals given how lovely the location is, but I'm good on being treated like a nuisance for simply existing. With so many restaurants in Salerno, why would I put...
Read moreWe made reservation for my best friends 30th birthday in this restaurant and he specifically mentioned in the reservation that I’m gluten intolerant. They brought us amuse which was bread with anchovies, I told the waitress I can’t have it because I’m gluten intolerant to which the reply was Ah! And was laughing she didn’t even apologised or replace it with something else, I’m expecting people to be serious especially when it comes to allergies! We asked for wine recommendations and there were 2 waitresses who couldn’t recommend anything. The service was really bad, multiple times when we’d ask them if we can order our food they would ignore us. My main course arrived together with the starters of my friends, I got the octopus which on the menu was saying comes with olives but there was just one olive. The restaurant and location is nice but I expect for the price that you pay the service to be...
Read moreI recommend this place for people who want to have a great aperitivo/dinner with an amazing view and service! The location is truly the gem of the experience, since it is situated on the pier, where you can clearly see the close by city and sea at the same time. The prices at the bar are very affordable, and the food is tasty. Our personal favorite was “Pinsa Romana, Prosciutto Crudo, Mozzarella di Bufala”. One pinsa is at around 9€ and can be divided between two people! The highlight were the cocktails that looked and tasted exceptional! And also at a good price ;) Additionally to this, with our drink we received some appetisers like frittatina di pasta. Overall, highly recommend the place for people...
