Nastro Bistrò — Restaurant in Salerno

What a beautiful experience. We went for Easter lunch, a family of three generations, and we wore blown away by the quality of the food and the service too. I've lived in Italy for several years and the flavours and combinations at Nastro Bistro were a wonderful surprise, something totally fresh and new (I'm still dreaming of the creamy courgette gluten-free pasta dish)... The service was incredible, the staff were kind and considerate, helpful and accommodating - absolute professionals. The chef even provided suggestions on wine pairings for the meal for us. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Salerno and I can't recommend it enough. We passed by the day before our reservation and the chef popped out for a chat and to reassure me that he had prepared separate dishes for my kids in advance. A whole other level of dining out. Best dinner, best service, warm intimate settings, inexpensive. I was sooooo… impressed with the services at Nastro Bistro from the owners themselves. I was in casual attire after a 10-hour boat tour, a little embarrassed when I saw how classy the little restaurant and attentive the owner were. But they made me feel comfortable immediately. The food and presentation of the dishes were top notch, Michelin style. Well, because the Chef quit his job at Michelin star restaurants and came to Nastro Bistro so he could provide quality foods at affordable prices to the mass. How kind is that? The bill was presented in a little trunk, which added style to the venue.

We had a wonderful dinner at Nastro Bistrò with our young child, and everything was absolutely perfect. The service was exceptionally kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome – even with a little one at the table.

The food was incredible – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like a treat! The wine selection was also excellent, and paired wonderfully with our meal.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined – ideal for both couples and families. This was one of our best dining experiences in Salerno, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
