Itâs a small food store with 2-3 tablesâ.I have to say the shining point is the owner tho not the food only..The owner is a cute polite old guy. Smilling and heartwarming he speak no English at all yet he patiently and eagerly take your order .He is caring and kind judging with the encounters I saw with other locals.
He prepared the food we ordered one dish at a time . .This is beautiful and shows respect towards the customer .It may take more time to eat at his store but good things take time .He genuinely cares about you enjoying the food he makes. He check up on you if you like it and smiles when he see u enjoy it.The prices are ok and u can eat well there .
I had the ravioli with ricotta and it was yummy.
I have to share this too .I had a trip from Napoli to Amalfi coast and the prices were crazy. The food was bad and they only cared how they will get the most out of u.Everything was overpriced!!!!As for hospitality and how helpful the locals were canât say I had good experience either .in Napoli station they denied to give us directions because we didnât know Italian and the overall experience wasnât good because we had plenty similar incidents.
The first time I felt really welcomed and cared was at this man food store. When I asked him about the name of the dish I just had ,he thought I was doubting about the price so he rush to explain politely .Thankfully with the use of google translate I let him know that the we donât care about the price but wanted to thank him because the dish was yummy .
He blow us some kisses, say thank you and we left for home.
I leave Italy with a smile after this encounter .i wish him all the best .May god give him...
Read moreWe came across Ni Burti by pure chance in Salerno, and it ll remain my family's most memorable and enjoyable eating experience of our entire holiday despite having visited Naples, Sorrento,Positano and Amalfi. The chef's passion for his cooking was evident in every mouthful. He was genuinely interested in us as customers and enquired what we liked, recommended things and sought out opinion's regarding what we ate .with the help.of Google translate . The food was unpretentious, perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty.... His ravioli was by far the tastiest I have had in Italy. Contrary to most places we ate in we were positively encouraged to take our time ,relax and not rush anything. It was excellent value for money too. My biggest regret is having only discovered this place the evening before we depart. He even insisted on giving us a few goodies to take with us for our journey. In Salerno??? This place is a must...you ll not be disappointed. Thanks Nicolo what an...
Read moreNi Burti in Salerno is a true hidden gem, it was a cozy, unpretentious spot where authentic flavors shine at an affordable price. Run single-handedly by Mr. Nicolas Burti, who takes your order, expertly cooks, and serves each dish with warm, friendly service, it feels like dining in a friendâs kitchen. We were seven and everything we tried was outstanding: the crispy fried pizza and calzone were deliciously satisfying, the rice balls perfectly crafted, and the aglio olio pasta stood out with its balanced, spicy kick made just as we requested. Without a doubt, this was the best dinner we had in Salerno. When we return, Ni Burti will be our first stop to relive this memorable meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine, home-style Italian cuisine in a...
