Please do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal here- if you are reading this review, you have no excuse. GO! ENJOY! EAT GOOD LEAVE AND BE HAPPY!

By far the best meal we've had in Salerno. So fresh, so delicious

The staff was exceedingly friendly and happy. For a 2euro service fee, there is mineral water, sparkling water, AND red & white wine on tap. Serve yourself... yes, you heard that right- water & wine on tap.

The menu changes but based on everything we had I'm going to expect whatever is on the menu is worth tasting.

A complimentary starter of pasta cresciuta (fried pizza dough balls), we said "Oh, will just have a couple..." ended up eating the entire plate.

My boyfriend had the fusilli with sweet green peppers- photos don't do it justice but it was a good sized portion and absolutely delicious. Fresh pasta and dainty but flavorful sauce.

I had the mixed grilled fish which was two nice pieces of the most savory swordfish I've ever had, a large piece of cuttlefish which was perfectly grilled, and 5 shrimp- plus a fresh salad. We then split a tiramisu which was created on the spot- creamy and delicious (have I used that word too many times?).

We left full, happy, and in...

Our server was kind enough to explain the menu substitutions (in English- which was very considerate). We were advised to get the starters while we waited for the next course. They were all really delicious and unique! Highly recommend that if you do not have a huge appetite, to just get the fish starters. It’s SO good and more than plenty of food. Really wished we had known how much food that would be, because we were full before the next course. The clams on the pictured pasta were delicious. Since all the food thus far was on point, it was a surprise that the pasta itself was so oversalted, it was inedible. I felt really bad because we accidentally over-ordered, and ended up wasting food. Also I could see the 2 servers were super busy...

I'm reviewing this now, 6 years after I visited. I had the best meal of my life here in June 2018. I love food and love to cook and eat out, but nothing since has topped the meal I ate here. I tell every person I know visiting the Amalfi coast to eat here. I only vaguely remember the dishes I had at this point (I recall some phenomenal, melt in your mouth tuna). I do remember that the small plates were some of the freshest food I'd eaten and had some wonderful flavor combinations and that the waitress was very friendly and patient, as my Italian was a bit rusty. The atmosphere was fantastic, cozy and welcoming.

I can't wait to return in a few months and plan to update my...

Simple, ingenious fish restaurant with smart cuisine. At the end of the trip the sailing group had a very nice evening in the original restaurant. The concept is great - house wine from the carafe is included, the appetizers and dishes clear, but well thought out. In the end - a Tiramisu as easy as we have never found it before. Dear team, keep it up. Here the boss stands behind the stove and has fun at work. Many thanks to Lucia for the double workload in the kitchen and our service. Great experience and worth every cent.
