The restaurant service was great our waiters had a lot of character. We went into the restaurant and asked for a table for three and there weren’t many tables inside the restaurant and it was practically empty but we continued anyway and we asked to be seated outside. They carried one of the table from the inside outside, so that’s where all the tables went so nothing to worry about. Then we ordered the starter platter and it was amazing the fish rice ball was very good, I don’t eat salad but my companions raved about it, the muscles were amazing some of the best ones I’ve had and the servings were quiet generous. For our entrees we had a parchare and the pasta was home made and tasted excellent. It was soft and not too chewy and the flavors were great especially with the added walnuts (not something I expected with pasta, but worked out fantastic). The other meal was the Baccala (Cod fish) and it didn’t have a fishy taste but instead the taste of the sauce and fish itself blended really well. Finally I ordered the seared tuna and it tasted like a very well made steak with a slight tuna taste and honestly it was 12€. I personally feel that anywhere else it would’ve been 40€. I loved everything they served and I’m not much of a seafood person but I can defiantly say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in Italy and in my home country (USA). After we ordered the dessert (they only had one option) which was tiramisu, it was really good. I’m not a fan of tiramisu because they are usually over rich, but this one was not and blended...
Read moreThis was one of the worst restaurants in Salerno, from service to food. They only cater to Italians, otherwise service is slow. We ordered the sphagetti with raw prawns and It came cold. We sent it back and the second one was way better, but came 30 minutes later. The mixed fried fish was absolutely horrible. And we aren’t even that picky! It was actually inedible. Try Ristorante Cicirinella, it was so incredible with way better quality food, service, and prices!!! Save your money!! We do not recommend...
