bar L’Angolo — Restaurant in Salerno

Unfortunately, we only discovered this bar on the last afternoon of our stay, so we only had the pleasure twice.

We wanted to have a quick coffee in the afternoon and I wanted something chilled when the temperature was over 40 degrees. So the owner - who runs the bar with her brother - made her own creation for me: espresso on ice with lemon. I've rarely had anything so refreshing and delicious. The other cocktails were also very tasty (we particularly liked one with grappa). We returned again after dinner to have another chilled espresso to round off our last evening in Salerno.

It must also be said that the owner was incredibly accommodating, attentive and funny. We had a very nice chat with her and would highly recommend this bar to anyone.

My first evening in Salerno, my boyfriend and I we stumbled across L'Angolo and what a find it was! The drinks menu is impressive, offering a wide selection of cocktails that are exceptionally crafted. Each drink blends flavors in creative and unexpected ways, resulting in cocktails that are truly distinctive.

If you enjoy original and inventive drinks, this is definitely the place to go. The staff, who also own the bar, are incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. They take the time to understand your preferences and are happy to make tailored recommendations, which adds to the whole experience.

Molto bello, si beve ottimamente, con ottima fantasia e commistione di cocktail. Preferendo le colazioni agli aperitivi ho avuto anche modo di mangiare un buon cornetto alla crema.

Lo spazio all'interno si presta perfettamente ad attività di gruppo ristrette e piccole esposizioni.

Bar aperto a proposte progettuali interessanti e diversificate, con un piccolo accento sulla promozione dell'arte e di piccole realtà territoriali.

In una decina siamo riusciti a formare un piccolo workshop di fumetto, il volume della musica regolato ha permesso anche alle persone più introverse di comunicare all'interno del bar.

Ambiente e atmosfera molto accoglienti poi puoi pure farti un giro per i mercanti poiché il locale è perfettamente collegato al centro della città.

The cocktails are excellent, with great creativity and a delightful mix. Although I prefer breakfast over aperitifs, I had the chance to enjoy a delicious cream croissant.

The interior space is perfectly suited for small group activities and intimate exhibitions.

The bar is open to interesting and diverse project proposals, with a focus on promoting art and small local initiatives.

With a group of about ten, we managed to form a small comic workshop, and thanks to the volume of the music being well-adjusted, even the more silent particepants felt comfortable communicating within the bar.

Nice ambiance and atmosphere! Plus, you can take a stroll among the nearby via Mercanti as the place is well-connected to the city center.
