Disgusting people with the most dog whistle racist policies I have ever experienced in Italy for the most mediocre piece of gelato I’ve had since we arrived. Don’t waste your hard earned travel money for people who don’t respect people who are bringing them business. You would think folks that travel around the world and happen upon your shop you’d be grateful. But it’s clear their entitlement and disgust for people if color is evident in how I was treated when I paid to sit down and my guests were continuously berated even though they were not sitting in seats. I was and in a seat I paid for and was still harassed. If I could give a negative review than I would. Never going back and will continue to patronize those who see me and mine as humans first.

Wow! We stumbled upon this shop in San Gimignano that turned out to be a delightful surprise. So many good places here have long queues, but this one we found by chance - and it really was amazing. The gentleman serving us, possibly the owner, had limited English but so much charm that it was a pleasure to speak with him. He recommended pairing our sandwiches with a glass of local Vernaccia di San Gimignano white wine. It was so good that since then we’ve been ordering it on our trip around Tuscany. If you find yourself in San Gimignano, don’t miss this charming spot. It’s a perfect place to savor authentic Tuscan flavors and enjoy genuine hospitality.

Best meal at the best price. My fiancé and I were looking for something not heavy to eat because we were going to have dinner in some hours, so we spotted this small place with just one lady reading and drinking wine, seemed lovely. Had a delicious bread and prosciutto. We recommend it to everyone we know that goes there.

Sandwich, cheese, charkuteries etc. Very good wine, love the ingredients in the sandwich, wished something more exciting about the bread (maybe it was just different that day) but I still loved the sandwich and I loved to meet the owner. Not a tourist trap like a lot of the other places in town. Genuine place and a genuine guy serving you. Was so suprised that we were the only one in the place around lunch time. People should be lining up for this place. Only thing I wish is the owner put out a couple of tables and chairs outside his resturant so you could sit outside and enjoy a great italian sandwich and...
