Ok food. But when their atm doesn’t work twice, with no communication to come inside, and you leave the table, they accuse you of stealing and play the victim. Missed our train because they came frantically over accusing us of stealing when we’d told them we were going to catch a train (in what world would people trying to steal tell waiters where they are heading?) Approaching us and threatening to call the police when it was their fault was comical, greatly disappointed with the service, and accusing your customers and not accepting any blame is shocking. We had no problems with paying at all. Ruined the meal you had done.
I am editing my review in response to you: No, your behaviour was very bad. Correction, we were never asked to come inside - so don’t lie, just asked to come closer to the entrance, which we did. Also I have someone else who can attest that she never said to wait, we said grazie after paying and walked to our train, it was the waiter who ripped and receipt and ran away, WITHOUT EXPLANATION! Yes we weren’t in a massive rush because we had 10 minutes for a 5 minute walk, it’s called being organised, maybe you should try that sometime. If your atm doesn’t work outside, here’s an idea… get people to pay inside instead of blaming your customers and accusing them of stealing when it doesn’t go through. It’s appalling that I had to show your waiter my bank account because she didn’t believe I had money? Excuse me that’s horrible behaviour, I’ve never had to do that before. Also, the victim stuff, claiming I was stealing her cancer money, my mother and uncle passed away from cancer, you never know what’s going on in peoples lives so to make such a terrible accusation is again appalling. Your response just exemplifies your poor service, no apology or anything from you, what a disgusting attitude. It’s not our fault that she had to run, as I said before, people trying to steal wouldn’t have let waiters know where we are heading to and why we couldn’t stay for dessert. Your other responses to bad reviews reflect your poor attitude. Take a look at yourself and grow up a bit, you’re acting like a child, not a professional,...
Read moreThis restaurant just gets better and better if that is even possible. The menu is varied and authentic with a modern approach to classics, excellent, in fact, the best quality products from burrata to the meat dishes, both the pork and the beef are exquisite, everything on the menu (and we have tried most things) are fabulous and from observing and talking to other diners, we are not the only people to think so. Read moreOh my God! Incredible food and wine but I must say, this was the best family dining experience we've ever had with our toddler. Hands down. The server was phenomenal with our son and even sprinted to us with ice when he fell off a chair and bumped his head. Incredible experience! The wine went perfectly with it meals and antipasti. The polpo was cooked superbly, the pesto was godly, and the other fish dishes were perfect. We walked by the restaurant the next day and our server from the previous night remembered our toddler's name and engaged with him again. They are amazing! I certainly recommend eating here, based solely on the food; but for all the parents out there, please let this help you about eating somewhere else...
